Why do we give up our power?

» We spend all week in production mode, so we have to rest on weekends to prepare ourselves for the next push, the next week.

» Isn’t it sad that we live in a world where we have all the technology needed for us to work less and have more time for leisure, yet we remain constrained to working 5 (or even 6) days a week, only to “rest” for a day or two?

» I see your point but there’s nothing we can do to change it. Besides, it’s a necessary part of being a member of society.

» Well, society = us. If we think we want to change things, we could.

» We can’t just turn up and change things. But I guess we could start with ourselves.
