The beast was so large it could barely be seen Grotesque beyond the imagining Held together by mechanised parts and digital upgrades Wheezing like some mangy hound dog on its death bed Mean as all hell All around it a swarm So thick you could taste it Life forms furiously squabbling and mating Then rushing headlong t'ward the beast Latching like ticks Except they grew not fat They just withered away Sustaining the gargantuan beast With their life force deflating Like a sad balloon left alone in a corner Long after the party had finished
