Guess what! I built something!

An actual app! (I can still barely believe I’m saying that.)

Several people in my life told me around the same time that they absolutely dread meal planning. They said it takes forever, they loathe doing it, and their families don’t even appreciate all their efforts. (Relatable.)

It was a problem I thought I could do something about thanks to my new AI skillz from taking a superb course this summer.

And thus… behold:

Introducing BALM Nourish. (insert fanfare noises)

This is not just a meal planning app (which I discovered as I played around with adding features I thought would be useful.)

You tell it who’s eating, what they can’t (or won’t) eat, and how much time you actually have, and it builds an entire week of meals for you. Whether you want just dinners or the whole enchilada - breakfasts, lunches, snacks, and desserts - this app’s got your back!

And get this - it makes a grocery list at the same time. Divided into grocery store sections. Because easy = yay!

It even scans photos of your beloved recipes so you can store them as your favourites and fold them into your weekly plan.

Not only that, if you have a special occasion to plan for, you can add profiles for all the guests and then it concocts a meal with all the fixins’, either from your favourite recipes or generated automatically based on all the likes/dislikes/allergies/picky eaters attending.

Now, here’s the thing (shhh).

It’s not public yet, and it’s not quite finished-finished.

That’s why I’m doing a one-month beta, and I want a small group of you in it first, before anyone else sees it.

Ready to try out BALM Nourish?

To become a Beta Tester, click this link, fill out the form, and you’ll get an email with the password and a simple step-by-step to get set up.

After the month, it stays free forever if you’re already a BALM member. For everyone else, it becomes its own thing you can keep using if you love it.

I built this for the version of you standing in the kitchen at 5pm with no plan. Come be one of the first to try it.

With exciting love and gathered courage,

Christina
