Experience Vivaldi’s Gloria with Preston Orpheus Choir

A chance to take part in Venetian Vivaldi’s vibrant classic “Gloria”. Come and Sing event 2-6 PM, Saturday 6th June 2026 with Preston Orpheus Choir . All voices welcome, familiarity with the music useful, but not essential. This is followed by a casual performance at 7PM with audience tickets available. Venue - St Leonard’s, Marshalls brow, Penwortham, PR1 9JA.

Nelson Secret Singers are hosting their second summer singing workshop. You will have a chance to learn songs from around the world - all taught by ear.

This is a good chance to meet the group and their leader if you are thinking of joining us on a more regular basis. Or simply join us for glorious harmonies, delicious cakes and a shared lunch.

Nelson Secret Singers are led by Annelie Leinhos, who emphasises movement, fun and having a go in her workshops with the aim of connecting singers with each other through laughter and song. So, have a go, have a wiggle and sing out at Read & Simonstone Village Hall!

No experience necessary. All are welcome.
