5 Things YOU Need to Know Before July 20th

Let’s address the lion in the room: On June 30th, Jupiter entered Leo for the first time in twelve years and the internet lost its head about it. Everyone, everywhere told Leo—Leo Sun, Leo moon, Leo Rising, the Leo part of your chart—that this is your year, your era, your moment of expansion and abundance and cosmic recognition! Every astro content creator from here to Neptune published some variation of “Jupiter in Leo = YOUR YEAR FOR LUCK & ABUNDANCE” and everyone from here to the Sun read it, felt briefly expectant, only to find themselves…idly waiting.

And waiting.

And still, as of the publishing of this newsletter, waiting.

Waiting for the opportunity to arrive. Waiting for the door to open. Waiting for the windfall of luck to land in their lap and for Jupiter to finally make good on the internet’s promise and deliver them the best year of their life. Which is why I’m going to tell you something very important, and I need you to hear it in the most lovingly frank, Jupiter-in-Leo way possible: Jupiter in Leo is a green light for growth, not a DoorDash order you track from your couch.

So, today, we’re going to dive deeper into what Jupiter in Leo actually is, what it actually does, and—most importantly—what the four major aspects it makes over the next two weeks are asking you and the Leo part of your life to do with it. Maybe it seems too impractical or too pie-in-the-sky, yet you still find yourself longing for it. (Since it’s deceptive Neptune, you may also be confused about what you want or why you want it.) Either way, Jupiter trine Neptune Retrograde grounds your goal in idealism and possibility. Yes, it’s a moment of reckoning—buuuut it’s also a pocket of time when you can intensify your ambition to succeed and really commit to the long-game. (And how do we commit? Say it with me: we move towards what we want!) Because let’s be real: no ambition is immediately attained and no growth happens overnight. It’s a reminder that you expand when you innovate, experiment, and dare to do what’s different for you. So, post the “weird” video. Write the crazy idea down and see where it leads. Or maybe just take a different route to work. Either way, this astro doesn’t just urge you to say yes to the thing that scares you (in a good way), it rewards you for it. Once a year, the Sun and Jupiter meet in the same degree of the same sign—and astrologers call this a cazimi, which is a fancy Arabic term for “in the heart of the Sun,” which is a fancy way of saying Jupiter just got a direct line to the most powerful energy source in the solar system and is getting a HUGE recharge. This, of course, follows the Sun’s entrance into Leo on July 22nd, and the South Node’s move into Leo on July 26th (which I will give you more intel on very soon), but it’s still helpful astrology for your visibility, confidence, and BIG GOALS. Because a Jupiter cazimi is basically a new moon moment for the planet of plenty—and it’s a prime day for setting intentions for your growth, your goals, and for launching anything tha needs an extra boost.

Wherever Leo is in your chart—your 1st House, your 5th, your 10th, wherever—that is the area of your life being supercharged by the cazimi. (And by supercharged I mean, having a confidence rebirth.) So, think about how you want this part of your life to grow, expand, and become more abundant / confident over the next twelve months. Then, write it down. Make it specific.
