Strong CORE Community Update

It’s hard to believe that we’re already one week into this journey.

First, thank you.

Whether you purchased a copy, shared a post, sent an encouraging message, recommended the book to someone else, or simply prayed for this project, thank you. I have felt your support every single day.

Launching a first book has been both exciting and humbling.

I’m learning things I never knew I would need to learn. I’m discovering how publishing works, how algorithms work, how reviews matter, and how much patience this process requires.

One lesson has made me smile.

Years ago, I used to tell Melanie not to step on the scale every day. Our value isn’t determined by a number that changes from one morning to the next.

Ironically, I now find myself needing to take my own advice.

Only instead of looking at a scale, it’s tempting to look at Amazon rankings.

One day the book climbs. The next day it falls. That’s simply how the system works.

I’m learning to celebrate the wins without becoming consumed by the numbers.

Because while rankings are exciting, they aren’t the mission.

The mission has always been to help leaders strengthen who they are before they focus on what they do.

As I’ve watched people begin reading Strong CORE, something has become increasingly clear to me.

This book was never meant to end as a book.

I believe it has the potential to become part of the language of leadership.

Imagine leaders asking one another, “How’s your CORE?”

Imagine teams talking about their Roots before discussing results.

Imagine conversations about Fruit instead of performance alone.

Imagine organizations recognizing that sustainable leadership is built on Soul, not simply strategy.

That’s the future I see.

Not because of a book.

Because of what happens when enough people begin doing the inner work of leadership.
