A week of delicious lunches and dinners, a glorious salad, breakfast granola, bliss balls and cookies! I’ve done the planning and the testing; all you need to do is shop and cook. All recipes, grocery list and meal prep run sheet are available as printable and downloadable PDFs.

To make life easier, I’ve got the sweet bakes and prep planned for 1-hour on Saturday and the rest (lunch, dinner, salads) planned for 1.5hours on Sunday. This will give you breakfast for a family of four for a whole week and some high-protein healthy snacks, some delicious treat cookies because we can’t just eat healthy all the time, right? Plus, lunch for a couple of days and dinners for three nights… again for a family of four. The recipes transform into different meals by just switching up the sides and how you serve them. I have included all serving suggestions, variations, ideas and information in this post. So don your aprons and get ready to steal my meal plan.

  1. Start by printing out the recipes. In this day and age of screens, I still like to print out my recipes and have them laid out in front of me when cooking, especially if I am cooking multiple dishes. It reduces time in the kitchen and avoids swapping between screens and losing your chain of thought. I now have a binder full of recipes I have printed and just pull out the ones I need when I am cooking them.

  2. Print out the shopping list and do your shop a day before you plan to meal prep. If making substitutions, jot them down on your shopping list and subsequently on your printed recipe.

  3. Print out your meal plan run sheet and mark the time you will start and finish. It is exciting and incredibly rewarding to see yourself being disciplined and achieving your goal.

  4. Start with clean counters, an empty sink and dishwasher

  5. Get a large plastic/enamel tub to catch all your scraps and rubbish (multiple tubs if you are saving scraps for chooks/compost)

  6. Get a few bowls and shallow plates to hold prepped veggies.

  7. Have your favourite music playlist on the ready. Preheat your oven. It’s time.
