Hi and happy Sunday! The past few weeks at work have been more hectic that usual as we are gearing up for our big project Go Live next week, and I cannot wait. There comes a point in a project where you’ve done all you can, and you know there will be problems to fix, but it’s just time to GO. We’re there and I’m so excited to be over the hump next weekend! Because I’ll have that going on, there will not be a CiD next week, so I’ll be back in November (woah, that’s wild)!
Before I get into recipes and recs, I want to take a moment to recognize that it’s been a year since my first miscarriage. I was so deeply sad and frustrated, and I remember feeling like time was moving so slowly. Trying to get pregnant is so.much.waiting. and it felt like torture to me when it wasn’t going the way I expected or wanted it to. I have lots of empathy of that version of myself, and I wouldn’t be who I am today without those experiences. I’m also grateful to you all for being a safe place for me in the good times and the hard ones.
Wishing you an restful Sunday! Thank you for supporting Consider it Done.

Perelel Cellular Hydration Powder - There are many moments that I am absolutely overcome with thirst, and I need a concentrated gulp of hydration. I love all things Perelel, and this hydration powder is no exception. Most other electrolyte powders give me a headache, and this one does not - I like to mix it with a 1/2 and 1/2 combo of water and coconut water.
The Case Against Adnan Syed - For the Serial fans out there, HBO has released a 5th episode update to the Adnan Syed case, and it is fascinating. Serial and Adnan’s story gripped me (and much of the world), and it is so heartwarming to see good people working hard to advocate for him and other wrongly convicted individuals.
Full-Size Candy Bar House - Wills has decided to make us a full-size candy bar house this Halloween, and at first I kind of rolled my eyes, like why?! But now I’m excited to see the kids’ reactions. I have a hunch that Wills is banking on this being a sort of “protection plan” - that these kids will remember we were a “cool” house and will spare us from their teenage mischief in a few years.
I’m adding some extra content beyond the paywall each week.
