Team Concordium · Concordium Updates

Hello Concordians 👋

AI agents are already making payments, signing contracts, and placing orders autonomously. The question nobody has answered yet: when an agent acts, who is accountable?

Concordium is an AI company building the trust layer the agentic economy needs. The only platform where verified humans and verified AI agents operate on the same identity layer, powered by a purpose-built blockchain that makes that guarantee possible at scale.

When an agent acts, the counterparty can verify a real human authorised it, at the infrastructure level, not bolted on after the fact.

This month we brought that infrastructure to 80M+ wallets through Bitcoin.com. For the full picture: Verified Humans. Verified Agents. One Protocol., Town Hall #5, and our committed roadmap.

  • Google Cloud Next ‘26 announced cryptographic, auditable Agent Identity IDs for every AI agent, with zero-trust verification baked into its Gemini Enterprise platform.

  • FIDO Alliance launched an Agentic Authentication Working Group to define how AI agents authenticate and transact on behalf of users, with Google and Mastercard contributing their frameworks to the open spec.

  • Identity Digital launched DNSid, a DNS-anchored “birth certificate” for AI agents that gives every agent a persistent, verifiable identity across platforms.

Verify & Access are now live inside the Bitcoin.com Wallet on iOS and Android, bringing Concordium’s identity infrastructure to 80M+ wallets. Users can verify once through Concordium’s ZKP-based ID layer and prove attributes like age or residency to any service without sharing personal data. The next step is 1-Click Verify & Pay, extending the same layer to payments for both humans and AI agents.

A four-part series breaking down how Concordium’s protocol-level identity actually works, from account creation to zero-knowledge proofs to legal disclosure for AI agents and humans.

In the latest issue of Smart Money Voices, Iain Corby, Executive Director of the Age Verification Providers Association (AVPA), argued that age verification is becoming the internet’s core access architecture. Centralised ID creates honeypots and liability; the only viable path is privacy-preserving verification where users prove attributes without exposing data, and AI agents inherit verified credentials from the humans they represent.
