Hey all.

I don’t know about you, but we’re deep in it right now—objection handling, making the boat go faster, product training... All. Good. Stuff.

Sometimes, though? It’s all so real that the only sane move is to press pause and have a little fun.

Today’s Sales Training: Aura Farming

Look, the next generation of buyers and sellers were born after the iPad.
They grew up watching YouTube unboxing videos—not unboxing real things.
They don’t write emails—they send Discord pings.
They don’t “network”—they “vibe check” your LinkedIn.

And in 5–10 years, they’ll be buying our software.

So, before you try to schedule a call with someone named Zaylyn who leads RevOps at a Series A AI startup, you better learn how to speak their language.

Welcome to Aura Farming 101—your crash course in Gen A slang and how to use it to sell, connect, and survive in the post-email era.

  • I say a word.

  • You define it (or, let’s be honest, guess).

  • Try to use it in a sentence like a B2B SaaS seller would.

  • Get it right? Win a prize. 💸 Swag shop gift codes await.

1. Tuff
Very cool, impressive, or stylish.
💬 “Did you see that deck Finance made for our Series C pitch? That was tuff.”

2. Steezy
A mix of style and ease — effortless cool.
💬 “My demo was so steezy today. I barely touched the slides—just straight value talk.”

3. Aura Farming
Cultivating your vibe or online presence so people think you’re cool/influential.
💬 “He doesn’t even book meetings, he’s just aura farming on LinkedIn with hot takes and a ring light.”

4. Rizz
Short for ‘charisma.’ The ability to influence or charm others.
💬 “You’re closing that deal next week. Your follow-up game has rizz.”

5. Delulu
Ironically delusional or overly optimistic.
💬 “I’m manifesting a cold outbound to Stripe converting to a 7-figure deal. I know, I’m delulu.”

6. Slaps
Something that hits hard—in a good way.
💬 “That new onboarding flow slaps. Time-to-value down 40%!”

7. Bet
Agreement. ‘Okay’ or ‘I’m down.’
💬 “You want me to send the custom pricing deck before COB? Bet.”

8. Mid
Mediocre. Not bad, not good. Just mid.
💬 “The competitor’s product is mad mid. No AI, no integrations—just vibes and vaporware.”

9. No Cap
No lie. For real.
💬 “I told the VP we were the only ones with that reporting feature. No cap.”

10. Slay
To dominate—usually with flair.
💬 “QBR prep? Slay. Forecast hygiene? Slay. Pipeline reviews? We’re out here slaying.”

11. It’s Giving [X]
Used to describe the vibe of something.
💬 “The product roadmap? It’s giving… ‘we forgot to ask Sales what customers want.’”

12. Say Less
Got it. Understood. No need to explain.
💬 “You want me to jump into that client call last-minute? Say less.”

13. Main Character Energy
The person owning the moment—high confidence, high presence.
💬 “She ran that discovery call like she was pitching Sequoia. Main character energy.”

14. Ate (and left no crumbs)
Crushed it. Performed exceptionally.
💬 “That win-back sequence ate. Seven reactivations in one day.”

15. NPC
"Non-playable character"—robotic, basic, just going through the motions.
💬 “Dude on the other end of the call was just reading the script. Total NPC energy.”

Next time someone says your cold call has rizz, or that your QBR slayed, or your reactivation campaign ate—you’ll know it’s not an HR issue. It’s a compliment.

Let’s get steezy and sell some software. 💻 💅
