Quick one today! Wanted to make sure you’re aware of “What Makes CC Sticky?” coming up on Friday. No, it’s not an X-rated whodunnit, but nice try.
I’m clearly biased as a writer, but I believe that having the right words unlocks powerful new energy. Yes, words are often insufficient. They’re blunt objects. We never get them completely right. But they clarify, they specify, they give us a direction. A jumping-off point.
Connie and Kelly have been looking for language to describe what it is about our beloved community that makes it so, well, special. They’ve been having lots of big and little conversations about this, and identified three important common denominators that characterize Coaching Corner at its best: revealing, experimenting and acknowledging. They’re eager to open the dialogue up to the full Coaching Corner community and see what happens when we use these “pillars” to think about the future.
They hope (and I have to say I agree) that we’re joined by both longstanding members and fresh faces!
They know this about me: I’d personally like to see our community work on developing something tangible together (my nomination: a bespoke client-matching service called Coaching Concierge). But what do you want to see happen?
