I’ve authored two essays, including the lead essay, in the forthcoming book 40 Bible Passages About AI: Scripture for an Age of Intelligent Machines.
It was definitely a fun project to devote a bit of time to. Since, for the foreseeable future, people of faith are going to be living with the Bible in one hand and AI in the other, I’m grateful to have contributed to a resource that brings together voices from across the church and AI ethics conversation.
Rather than focusing on just a handful of familiar texts, the book explores forty passages from across Scripture and invites readers to think theologically about artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies. It’s written for pastors, church leaders, educators, and anyone interested in approaching these questions from a standpoint of faith.
Looking forward to seeing it out in the world.
