Oh where has the time gone? It has been a very eventful first 2 1/2 months of 2025. Spring breaks, loved ones lost, work busy with comings and goings, but here we are. One wonderful event was that the wonderful wizard of Google finally recognized my website. I have had a very strong impressions line chart since the end of December. I had moments of giving up but I continued down that yellow brick information superhighway despite flying bots, posts making me sleep, dodging deindexing, and finally finding the correct advice from friendly people who I have met along the path. Those friendly people could be Elphaba or Glinda. It just depends on what book you read. I just needed to click my heels, I mean just click some toggle buttons and my site was out in the open for thousands to visit. Or potentially visit. They just need to *CLICK*.

I did listen to the WIcked audiobook at work. They allow us to do that. So those of you who read the book and then saw the movie probably share in my shock the difference between the two. Darth Vader/Luke Skywalker parental connections, 9 ½ Weeks-esque relationships, and Elphaba’s empathy throughout the movie. (Sorry if that was a spoiler) The movie being a PG song and dance extravaganza. But still well made.

I did manage to come up with some posts. Recently, meaning yesterday, I published a post for my zucchini pizza. It is a very easy pizza to make. Just sliced zucchini on top of a garlic parmesan cream sauce. Just add parmesan cheese to my garlic cream sauce. A 23 meatless recipes post was also published for lenten and vegetarian recipes. There is shrimp in one of the recipes so just take the shrimp out and it will be meatless. A kind soul on Facebook let me know that shrimp is meat to some.

I have been hearing that Portuguese food may be the new trend in 2025. I have heard it too many times not to be true. The YouTube videos I have been watching have been very interesting. Many famous dishes originated from Portugal. More on that later.

We have some exciting occasions coming up! Aaron and Maggie will be graduating from John Carroll and Ohio State respectively. It will be so exciting!

I have spent the past 6 weeks or so with Substack gnawing at my heels. It feels so good to get back on. Thank you for your patience!

Stay safe!
