I have compiled potential options of graduation outfits. I have my graduation ceremony coming up next month and I have been searching everywhere for the right outfit. I originally wanted an archival two-piece from Jean Paul Gaultier but that is first sold out and second waaay out of budget. That was the dream. But in reality, there are a few options and different price ranges that I have compiled. I was looking for something with bright colors preferably, I’m in an era where I would rather buy fun colorful pieces rather than neutrals.
I have this first option which I already purchased from Aritzia to be more on budget. It is the Ladywell Dress Sleek second-skin halterneck dress made of a stretchy fabric with a cut that drapes on the chest beautifully and seems to shape the body just perfectly.
Surprisingly, Jacquemus shared his new Bridal campaign “Le Mariage” yesterday where he shared bridesmaid dresses that reminded me of that Aritzia dress because of the fabric, color and almost the shape is similar on how it drapes on the body. I was surprised with the price of the Aritzia dress, I saw this dress as something that could be confused with Paloma Wool’s style of designs but for half of the price.
Then I found this other dress that I also purchased, I have been wanting a slip dress that has a nice color and doesn’t look like the fabric is cheap. This salmon slip midi dress is simple, classic, and cute.
Then I found this pearl color with a fit bodice and a drop skirt that is so elegant and simple. I know it has a trendy shape on the bodice but I feel like this style could become a timeless piece in my closet and I am dying to get it as well.
Finally, I have been dreaming about this suit from Jacquemus that is just perfect. I was in between the big blazer and the fitted one. I love the color and the fit looks beautiful and it is perfect for the occasion. It' is the Jacquemus Yellow Le Raphia 'La Veste d'Homme' Blazer in yellow.
The JACQUEMUS Yellow Le Paphia Le pantalon Sauge Trouser in yellow. Both just sold out on Ssense which had them on sale for the lowest price online but you can find the trousers too on Farfetch on sale for $484 and the blazer on Farfetch on sale for $459.
I wanted to mix the dresses with statement heels like the viral Les doubles sandales by Jacquemus which are just gorgeous.
I have been dreaming about these Khaite strappy heels in pale yellow The Marion strappy wedge sandal with the fun wedge.
My other options are these Stand fruit wedges that I got last year from their sample sale which by the way they have their sample sale happening again and it started yesterday!
My last option are these cute leopard print heels from Zara. I am a victim of the leopard trend, but in my defense, I have been a fan of leopard ever since I can remember.
I have two pieces a bodysuit and a fluffy jacket that I got in 2019 when I started college that have kept through the years.
I have been eyeing the Ganni balloon leopard pants “LEOPARD DENIM STARY JEANS” which are sold out in almost every size except 24 and 32 on their website and way too expensive for an item that is trending that I could get for less.
I am thinking of getting the Jaded London Leopard Fade Colossus Jeans instead, they are way more affordable and still similar in color.
The other option that I have seen multiple times on TikTok are the Damson Madder DION JEAN - LEOPARD CARGO but the color or the price does not convince me.
