Love is among the most frequently invoked concepts in human history. It has been the subject of poetry, the motive behind conflict and the foundation of religious traditions. Despite this ubiquity, a clear meaning of Love has escaped the understanding of man-in-the-mass.
Modern culture tends to reduce love to its most familiar expressions: sexual intercourse, romantic attraction, parental affection, or the emotional warmth shared among friends. In this view, love essentially becomes synonymous with feelings, which can merely be looked at as a matter of chemistry, attachment, or intensity of experience.
The problem with this reduction is not that it is entirely wrong, but that it is profoundly incomplete.
The qualities that drive human experience are not produced as effects of brain activity. Truth and Balance do not change depending on who observes it. Balance is not a feeling. In fact, when our bodies are in balance and completely at rest, we cannot sense them at all. These are what might be called mind-qualities. I will name some more: Beauty, Knowledge, Power, Energy, Inspiration, Consciousness
Love belongs to that same category. It is not merely what we feel toward particular people under particular conditions, but something more fundamental and primordial: a quality of Reality itself.
This is the context in which the religious claim God is Love becomes scientifically and philosophically understandable rather than merely sentimental. If love is understood as the cornerstone of a balanced and unified Reality—conditionless, vibrationless, at rest, eternal—then the statement is not poetry but provable scientifically.

The entirety of the material universe is founded upon the structure of the wave because the universe is solely composed of LIGHT WAVES. One of the most clarifying ways to think about the expression of Love is through the Law of Rhythmic Balanced Interchange, which is God’s Sole Law, coined by Walter Russell.
All waves are expressed in cycles. The first half of the cycle is the generative, compressive male half of the cycle which compresses large volumes of tenuous light waves into smaller volumes, creating form.
The second half of the cycle is the radiative, expansive female half of the cycle which ‘unwinds’ matter back into the stillness of the space which surrounds it.
The first half of the cycle expresses giving. The second half of the cycle expresses regiving. God is Love. The Father-mother’s sole action is to GIVE out from the QUALITIES of what the Father-Mother is. God never TAKES. God gives for the purpose of regiving. The opposite of giving, therefore, is not taking, but regiving.
This pattern appears throughout the natural world, from the pulsations of subatomic particles to mighty galaxies. In relation to the wave, giving and regiving sequences are called frequencies. When applied to biological life we call it breathing out and in. Exhalation gives to Nature and Nature regives to us the air required for inhalation. During the first 40 years of our life God give us our body by extending his to ours. During the last half of our life, we must regive our body back to God’s universal body, which the universe is.
The entirety of God’s Law of Love can be summarized in the following:
The God-Mind has ONE IDEA, the unconditioned ETERNAL IDEA of Balanced FATHER-MOTHERHOOD.
The PURPOSE of Mind is to Think.
Thinking divides the unconditioned IDEA of Father-Motherhood into Father AND Mother unit pairs which ETERNALLY interchange with one another to SIMULATE the UNITY of their CAUSE.
Simply put, God’s sole PURPOSE is to GIVE form to his QUALITIES by THINKING them into polarized QUANTITIES which SIMULATE His Nature by eternally interchanging with one another.
*A note of clarification. God (Mind) is unconditioned. It is the sexless FATHER-MOTHER. Unfortunately there is no pronoun to describe this. The word ‘it’ is insufficient as it has connotations of being an inanimate object and not containing Life. The word ‘He’ is used instead of ‘She’ when talking about God because, chronologically, the first half of the wave cycle is the giving male half and the second half is the regiving female half.
Applied to human relationships, Love is the moral and ethical principle known across cultures as the Golden Rule—treat others as you wish to be treated. It is typically framed as a moral obligation. More accurately, The Golden Rule should be understood as Reality’s operating system.
Human social systems behave like mirrors. The QUALITIES a person or institution (a group of people) extends into the world, will be regiven. Dishonesty cultivates distrust. Exploitation generates resentment and eventual collapse. Dishonesty and exploitation violate the wave principle mightily because they are based on TAKING. Generosity, patience, and genuine service generally reproduce themselves in kind—unless the other person in the transaction fails to regive equally.
From this perspective, the failure of relationships, personal, institutional, or civilizational, are all traceable to a fundamental violation of the Love Principle of equal giving for regiving. Relationships, families and organizations decline when self-interest replaces mutual service to a shared purpose.
God is the Cosmic accountant and his ledger MUST balance. The debits of our givings and the credits of our regivings MUST balance. If not, the residues leftover from our unbalanced transactions will create untold agonies. Personal unbalances creates family unbalances which creates national unbalances with creates world unbalances. We hold the right to our actions, but God reserves the right to the reaction in order to fulfil the Law of Love which is EQUAL GIVING FOR REGIVING.
Modern colloquial language frequently treats love and power as opposites. Love is seen as soft and compassionate and power as forceful and dominant. This opposition, however, is an effect of misunderstanding both terms.
Consider the ocean: its POWER is not located in the waves, which are transient, conditioned and variable, but in the vast STILLNESS from which they extend. Waves merely express the energy of their still source. A fulcrum is still. The lever which extends from that fulcrum cannot move upon its own. It requires the stillness of its source to be extended to it so that it make express the power of the source. Power lies in stillness.
Love is the same. It is the CAUSE from which the creative actions of GIVING and REGIVING proceed. The equation Love is Power is not rhetorical. It is Truth. The God-Mind is ONE and all of God’s qualities are One in Him, all meaning the same basic One thing though varying in connotation.
Perhaps the most telling feature of contemporary life is its paradox of material abundance and spiritual emptiness. Access to stimulation, entertainment, and physical comfort has never been greater, yet rates of loneliness, purposelessness, and spiritual disorientation have never been higher.
When the deeper meaning of Love is mistaken for transient feelings or the gratification of the senses, Love is then TAKEN, and the result is not fulfillment but a particular kind of exhaustion. It’s an itch that can never be scratched.
LOVE CAN ONLY BE GIVEN OUT FROM ONE’S SELF, IT CAN NEVER BE TAKEN.
The more clarifying question, then, is not the one most commonly asked—Am I loved? —but rather: What GOD-QUALITIES am I extending into the world?
