Embodied Alignment

The alignment of our body, mind, soul and spirit. True embodiment of the body, mind and soul gives rise to our connection with Spirit. Not a fleeting one. Not one you go looking for or seek out. An abiding one, fully connected, on demand, that you can access at all times.

Embodiment is not a mental construct. In fact, as overused and misunderstood as that word is, our pseudo-spiritual mental definition of that word is actually the opposite of embodiment. True embodiment is a felt sense within the body, not the definition of, which sits in the mind.

True Embodiment is moving from the Doing, which is mental, to the Being, which is Embodied. Actually living in your body, not your mind. Being in the place where your mind is in service of your bodily gnosis, rather than where we all live today, disconnected from our body altogether. True embodiment is living and acting from THAT place within. It’s the address of permanence within ourselves that you don’t move away from, rather than our relentless mental searching and seeking externally for everything already within us.

That is embodiment.

What does this have to do with the healing process? When we become fully embodied, we become fully aligned. When our nervous system is in harmony and not holding the distortions of past trauma, constrictions and energetic disturbances, we become fully aligned with our Truth, our Authenticity, our Divinity, and ultimately our deep connection with Universal Spirit, Universal Consciousness, Source, All That Is, God, or whatever name you prefer.

This is where deep and durable healing begins. We actually activate the essence of our source codes for self - healing at all levels. When we achieve Unity of the Soul, Body and Mind we begin to live as we are truly destined. We are destined to live in the fullness of our health and utter human vitality.

We’ve heard of mind/body/spirit connection. Why include the Soul? This is our true essence, free and unconfined from our conditioning. Seen, honored and integrated into our awareness. Given its rightful seat at the table so to speak. It’s the Soul that has a direct line to Spirit after all. Our Soul is our Divinity. Recognizing, honoring and embracing the fundamental nature of ourselves is foundational to the healing process.

Our awe-inspiring connection to Soul, Spirit and Consciousness is what gets activated during a psychedelic journey, as our Ego, and our pre-frontal cortex take a backseat in the experience, allowing our Soul to emerge and meld into our conscious awareness.

We are meant to be aligned and live in our truth, honoring all parts of ourselves. Currently, healing as our Western, mechanistic model understands it - is very siloed.

We pick and choose our healing from these silos - such as fixing the body, seeing a specialist, or addressing the mind without fully integrating, embodying or aligning all these aspects of ourselves in our desire to heal.

And what about the durability of the healing process itself? How many of us see initial results in our efforts, but they wane? We seek a different doctor or diagnosis. Often resulting in a return to illness. The common refrain in this regard is that the “thing” you tried in order to heal didn’t work.

And what about the mindset of healing? Generally, we accept we are intrinsically wired to recover from common illness and injuries, surgery and the like. But, why is deeper healing seen only as something that falls under the purview of a specialized physician without which healing isn’t seen as within our capacity? There is definitely a place for specialized medical knowledge to heal, however, why is our body is simply not seen as capable of self-healing at a certain threshold of the illness journey?

To echo the wise words of spiritual teacher Byron Katie, in her hallmark mindset process called “The Work”, we ask of these self perceived limited stories, opinions and beliefs - “Is that True?” And, “Who would I be without that thought?” and so ensues the self-inquiry necessary to make change happen within our belief system.

As I’ve walked my own path toward healing in so many different capacities, through so many realms, with my most recent personal healing and deep inward path of growth and self-inquiry via my own nervous system I’ve come to some conclusions.

I began to see within me and others, how there are pillars of the healing path that cannot be skirted. However, I see how we favor some healing paths to the exclusion of others. Those that are sticky, triggering, requiring surrender and taking an honest look at ourselves. I see how we actually silo our healing progress, not fully aware of how intimately intertwined our healing is. I see how we cast off or deny other essential parts of our human nature, denying recognition at all.

The word Healing comes from an Old English term that means “To Make Whole”.

Life is always guiding us toward healing, toward harmony, toward balance. Our body holds the medicine for our healing. The Nervous System is the portal, the gateway to aligned healing, the master controller that syncs all other systems.

When we heal and restore the harmony within our nervous system, releasing constrictions, expansion takes its place. It’s in expanded states that our Life Force flows as divinely designed.

In living this new and felt gnosis, saturated in my own Truth and Embodiment, I began to see these as distinct layers within us. Layers that demanded their own healing and recognition. In going through the Nervous System to align all aspects of our innate humanness, I began to visualize these layers. I began to dream of these layers and name their essential roles, assigning their various traits. As I began to draw and design my dreams into physical form, a mandala began to emerge.

I began to see this as a flower unfolding within us, with our soul, our essential truth at its core, coyly peeking from our awareness. The seed of our innate majesty hiding within, our own seed of life, waiting to be honored, nurtured and awakened to the sun. I began to visualize its blossoming, its ripening, and its readiness to be integrated with the natural world.

And so…. During my creation process, to try to further tease the truth of this revelation, I began to pull apart these circles, these silos within, these seemingly disparate parts of ourselves.

A new picture began to emerge. I wanted to arrange them as a mandala, as a flower. Our own internal flower of life, aching to be integrated with each other. What emerged was the mirror image of the Sacred Flower of Life, the eternal symbol of harmony and interconnectedness.

Hmmm… the famed, revered and mysterious Flower of Life. The sacred geometry and ancient symbol intrinsic to life itself. Found the world over in the most primordial temples and holy places… its meaning and significance pondered since time immemorial.

Its meaning is understood by mystics and healers to be a timeless emblem of universal harmony and interconnectedness with each other and the wisdom of the cosmos.

This geometric configuration is believed to encapsulate the universe’s fundamental structure, reflecting the geometric blueprint from which all existence arises.

Philosophically, the Flower of Life embodies the principles of sacred geometry, symbolizing the interconnectedness of all living beings and the unity of the material and spiritual realms.”

What if this Flower of Life doesn’t just mean our connection to the external world and our inherent connectedness to all living beings and the unity of the material and spiritual realms? What if it also signifies our Internal connectedness within? What if this is the sacred blueprint for our own healing codes to be fully activated? What if this intrinsic connectedness and unity with Soul and Spirit is as much an internal remembrance as it is an external embracement?

“As above, so below - as within so without” - The Emerald Tablet, Hermeticism

Can you see how we model the world and our reality based upon our internal landscape? If we are not connected with our truth, our essence, our knowing inside, is it any wonder that we see all around us in society and the world at large today such fragmented cultures, so many disconnected people who don’t know themselves? Can you perceive how our internal disordering is conveying itself to our external disordering, further compounding our disconnectedness and fragmentation? Can you perceive how this internal and external reality contributes to illness and disease? Both within ourselves and our society as a whole?

And so, where do we begin? By sitting in reflection and pondering the truth of how these unprecedented times are demanding of us, in our desire to heal the world, our communities, or our social network, it begins with healing ourselves first.

Coming home to our own connectedness within. Aligning ourselves with our core essence, our own Truth. When you do, in the whole self healing that occurs, you shift into a higher frequency - one of love, acceptance and deep gratitude. Often people will say they carry love already - and we do of course. But, is that Love you feel built on a foundation of fear, uncertainty, anger and unseen trauma? Built on the foundation of your disordered nervous system? Going through the healing and aligning process shifts your frequency. It elevates the felt sense of love that is now built on the frequency of gratitude. That frequency will heal ourselves from within, while also reflecting out to society as a whole, affecting the cohesion and unity of our family, our community, our social fabric, our connection with nature and all of life itself.

This is why healers and teachers who can help point the way, teaching us how to personally align for individual and collective healing is paramount. As each of us do this work, beginning to live and fully embody our majesty, watch our utter humanity and vitality emerge, we will inspire others to do the work to heal as well, thus impacting the collective whole.

Whoever travels without a Guide needs two hundred years for a two day journey - Rumi

And this is where a Guide comes in. One who holds the space for the emergence of the soul. One who holds a tight container of unconditional love and supreme safety as we release trauma, constrictions and disturbances in our nervous system in the process of restoration. One who holds that space with the highest energetic integrity and frequency, guiding you home, uniting all parts of yourself.

This is a process that cannot be rushed or jammed into a weekend workshop.

This isn’t a solo endeavor undertaken in fits and starts here and there.

This is a journey home to yourself, your commitment to true healing and transformation, guided by an all seeing expert who has walked this path and knows the way home. This is a path that mirrors nature and her unparalleled, infinite wisdom and the divine timing in the budding of a flower during the emergence of Spring. A process that cannot be rushed, only revered and honored for its own sacred momentum.

I urge all readers to sit in reflection regarding the truth of these words and how timely it is that we all begin to take personal self-responsibility for the changes happening in the world today. Times are demanding change. That change starts with you. It is all within you. Everything you seek is within.

If you are feeling called to explore this more deeply, book a call with me. I look forward to discovering your path together.

With love and harmony
