Late bloomers in our little garden Pink petals of softness opening to the warmth unfolding, full of trust still, now in October Late bloomers in our little garden Rebellious roses I have so much love for you, so much tenderness Looking at you defiant pink soft-petaled mirrors
Thanks for reading Like a Poet! This post is public so feel free to share it.
It didn´t look like this rose bush would develop buds or roses this year. And finally, when autumn came, the buds were waiting to unfold and every day I was wondering if they would make it, if it wouldn´t get too cold for them… I didn´t think they really would bloom that late. When the first rose opened I was happily suprised… and more followed!
I definitely consider myself a late bloomer, too, in so many areas of my life. But it´s never too late… Everyone has their own timing and certain circumstances that contribute to it.
Are you a fellow late bloomer, too? Or still waiting to bloom? (your time will come!)
