Friday night on Commercial Street.
Jake, Sarah, and Ryan are making plans—or, in Sarah’s case, plans to sleep—when an old radio drama drifts out over the sidewalk.
Jake recognizes it immediately.
It’s coming from The Little Station.
He noticed the place before. Now Sarah and Ryan know it’s there, too.
“Are you going in?”
“Not tonight.”
“So Monday.”
Sometimes the places that become important in our lives begin as nothing more than a door we keep walking past.
For now, they keep walking.
But the Little Station will still be there.
