6 rounds, 10 minutes each. Hosted by Hendon Chess Club, but open to all.

4–5 JULY — NORTHAMPTON FIDE CONGRESS
A weekend FIDE-rated congress, with sections including Under 2400.

Sections include Under 2400 and Under 1900.
This is one to consider if you want proper weekend chess without travelling too far. Right next to London City Airport!

TUESDAY 7 and 14 JULY CLISSOLD ARMS / MUSWELL HILL FIDE CHESS
The Clissold Arms, Muswell Hill
These Tuesday events are ideal if you like weekday chess: choose from FIDE/ECF-rated rapid games or standard-play chess, depending on the event format.
I always like these because they give players a proper chess day with great food and free parking.
