Cheryl · What Cheryl Writes

Summer sure was grand, but I’m ready for fall.

Hi friends — welcome back!

I’ve missed you over these past few weeks. Don’t get me wrong, a break is always delightful. But the kids are back in school, our calendars are filling up, and I’m ready to make the most out of these final four-plus months of the year.

Speaking of making the most of this year, Taylor & I have 12,000 (not really, but you get my point) events coming up, and we cannot wait to hit the road and share “Purple Potatoes Turn You into a Witch!” with you!

We love this book so much. I hope you do, too!

Before I get more into that below, though, I’ve got some really fun content lined up for the newsletter, too. Here’s a quick preview:

  • Ever wondered what CFPs want people to know about having kids? I asked ‘em.

  • Expert advice on how to stow away travel stress

  • Dreams. What do they really mean?

Until then … thanks for being here, friends. I feel so lucky I get to do what I do.

I’m working on a fun new “freebies” page on my website, so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, I created a Linktree with links to everywhere you can find me online. Be sure to subscribe here to catch any upcoming giveaways, too.

The final few weeks of our summer were insane, in the best of possible ways. Catch everything we did (including your full Universal ‘Harry Potter World’ guide!) over on Weary Wanderer.

Universal was incredible, even if it was stinkin’ hot.
The girls participated in their first-ever, week-long sleep away camp, and I saw my first Colorado moose! (Two, actually.)
We stopped off in D.C. for two days on our way to the Dominican Republic, and it was so much fun with the kiddos (and grandpa)!
The Dominican Republic was the perfect way to send off our summer of adventure.

Let’s do this fall thing, friends! Check out our awesome list of activities below, starting with the South Pearl Street Farmer’s Market this Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.!

You do not want to miss out on this Farmer’s Market — it’s the place to be.

The rest of the fall season is loaded, too!

Hope to see you out and about! Check my Events page frequently for any last-minute additions!
