Chen Lizra · Irresistible You with Chen Lizra

When I was 11 years old, my mother became mentally ill.

In one moment, everything I knew as safety — my home, my comfort, my ground — shattered.

The pain was so deep that for the next 10 years, I lived with suicidal thoughts. I carried trauma that emerged as PTSD. My emotional foundation was fractured.

But when I hit rock bottom, I made a decision:

I would not give up until I found a way to heal myself.

That moment became the beginning of a lifelong journey — a quest around the world to find the way back home to myself.

It took decades.

There were countless moments when I wanted to stop. When the road felt too long and the answers too difficult to find.

Therapy. Meditation. Books. Workshops. Healers.

I was a dancer. My body was strong, trained, capable.

But here’s what I didn’t understand:

Being IN your body is not the same as healing THROUGH your body.

I was moving. I was dancing. I was physically present.

But I was still looking for answers through my mind.

Trying to understand why I felt the way I felt and how to shift it.

Analyzing my patterns. Explaining my trauma. Making sense of it all intellectually.

Even the body-based practices I tried — martial arts, breathwork, movement — they helped.

But they didn’t unlock what was blocked.

They didn’t fully reach the place where the pain was stored.

They didn’t reprogram the frequency my nervous system was holding.

Because I didn’t realize yet: the healing had to happen in my body, not just WITH my body.

You can understand your trauma perfectly.

You can know exactly why you choose the partners you choose, why you freeze when you should speak, and why you override your needs until you burn out.

You can have the insights. The awareness. The “aha” moments.

You can even be in your body — moving, breathing, present.

And still — your body remembers what your mind keeps trying to forget.

Because trauma doesn’t live in your thoughts.

It lives in your nervous system. In your tissues. In the frequencies your body learned to hold just to survive.

And until you unlock it somatically — with the right practices that actually reach the blocked places — it stays there.

Waiting.

In 2005, I went to Havana to train in Cuban dance with professional dancers.

I wasn’t looking for healing. I was looking to master a skill.

But what I found was something I didn’t even know I was missing.

I found women who had something I’d been searching for my entire life.

Women who moved through the world with a mesmerizing, irresistible energy they call sabrosura.

It wasn’t just confidence.

It wasn’t just sensuality.

It was a full-body frequency — a way of being that made them feel gorgeous, irresistible, alive.

Not because of how they looked.

Because of what they transmitted from their bodies.

And I realized: they weren’t thinking their way through life.

They were feeling their way through.

Their bodies weren’t just strong or trained.

Their bodies were unlocked.

The sabrosura flowed through them freely — no blocks, no shame, no override.

Just pure, embodied aliveness.

And I wanted that.

I wanted to feel what they felt.

I wanted to move through the world the way they moved.

I wanted my body to remember what it had forgotten.

To remember its birthright.

I started training not just in the movements of Cuban dance.

But in the frequency of the sabrosura.

The somatic practices that Cuban women are raised with from birth.

The rituals that unlock the places where shame, fear, and trauma get stored.

The daily embodiment work that reprograms your nervous system to hold pleasure, confidence, the sabrosura — not the pain.

And slowly, my body started to remember.

The sabrosura that had been buried under decades of survival — it started to wake up.

I stopped searching for answers in my head.

I started unlocking what was waiting in my body.

I stopped performing confidence and started transmitting it.

I stopped chasing love and started calling it in.

I stopped living from my mind and started living from my sabrosura.

I gave a TED talk that’s been viewed 12 million times. I am not sharing it to brag. I want you to understand how powerful embodying the sabrosura is.

Women wrote to me saying: I want what you have,” “I want your confidence.”

Not the information I shared.

The energy I transmitted.

The sabrosura.

Your body remembers how to feel safe.

Your body remembers how to feel pleasure without guilt.

Your body remembers how to move through the world feeling gorgeous — not because of how you look, but because of how you feel.

Your body remembers the innate sabrosura that is your birthright.

But it’s blocked.

Buried under years of trauma, shame, override, “be professional,” “don’t be too much,” “stay composed.”

And you can’t think your way to unblocking it.

You have to feel your way there.

Through the right somatic practices.

The ones that actually reach the places where the sabrosura is waiting.

The ones Cuban women have been embodying for generations.

The ones I spent decades searching for — and finally found.

In Part 1, you learned that your body remembers what your mind forgot.

In Part 2, you’ll learn that the sabrosura is about meeting yourself deeply — that irresistible energy from the inside out.

In part 3, you’ll learn it’s time to make it your second nature — in every area of your life.

What if you could tap into your sabrosura in 15 days?

What if you could feel what Cuban women feel — that mesmerizing, irresistible energy that makes you magnetic without trying?

What if your body could remember what it’s been trying to tell you all along?

That’s what the 15-Day Sabrosura & Self-Love Challenge is designed to do.

15 days. One simple somatic practice each day. 5 minutes max.

Each practice is designed to unlock a different layer of the sabrosura.

To help reprogram your nervous system.

To help your body remember the frequency it forgot.

This isn’t theory. This isn’t more understanding.

This is the embodiment work that actually reaches the blocked places and begins to set them free.

The same practices I learned in Cuba.

The same practices that transformed my life.

The same practices that helped me go from being OK to feeling phenomenal.

You don’t need more insights.

You need to feel the sabrosura in your body and transmit it.

You need the sabrosura to wake up in your body.

To come back home to yourself.

And this is where you begin.
