I was making dinner last night, having been on the road all day, delivering various relatives to various medical appointments, and I got home pretty tired at the end of the day so I wasn’t feeling like cooking.

After spending most of last week in Hobart, I planned on returning to my desk on Monday, forgetting I’d booked a couple of skin cancer excisions for the morning—three of them, in fact.

I was listening to John Gruber’s podcast, The Talk Show, on my walk this morning.

I saw this note, blearily, at about 4:45 AM this morning, while waiting for the kettle to boil and fending off the depredations of two dogs and two cats none of whom could believe I hadn’t got up an hour earlier to feed them.
