For those following election administration in Michigan, another significant development has emerged involving attorney Kevin Kijewski and Antrim County Clerk Victoria Bishop. The Michigan Attorney General’s Office has officially concluded its review of an incident involving Bishop and her husband, finding “no criminal conduct occurred.” The state also confirmed that there was no attempt to access Michigan’s Qualified Voter File and that investigators found no evidence that sensitive county files were accessed.

Serious questions were raised, the Michigan State Police referred the matter to the Attorney General, and Bishop faced significant public scrutiny. Now the state’s own investigation has concluded without a finding of criminal wrongdoing.
