Chaos Calculated · Process Portal

This has been a joy to get to write and have this place to share my thoughts with many others, a time to reflect on what I use to think, how it shapes me, and how I can continue a path of awareness with greater intention to bring compassion and love in.

I was talking with a friend, who I hope is a new reader now, we were talking about the somewhat unfortunate state of the world, and some of the suffering and pain we see. To me it is well worthwhile to identify, define, and discern what care and what is best for yourself in a larger ecosystem. With identifying these problems we want to show how to we can fix them on the individual and collective levels.

As I was reflecting on past notes, hence the process of looking back and coming on journey to find the portal to our imagination of a better world.

solving these economic regenerative/ and ecological systems

when solving these such as global warming where the temperature will rise couple degrees in celsius over the next 50 years with a good amount of probability especially if we keep doing what we are doing, moreover when we do find solutions to these who are we ultimately saving when we do solve these issues, in an idea we are going to save everyone over all, but won’t there still be this huge wealth gap, what if the solutions to this will only take part in wealthy nations, for wealthy people, who are we saving then our masters who decide what is best for the whole, or at what point does the whole represent the opinions of the whole,

to allude to the point if we aren’t focusing our attention on saving all the life on this planet with an equal amount of compassion who are we really saving our egos, personalities, dreams, the ultra wealthy, the few poor, the people willing to adapt

while a hard perspective to accept that we only have our best interests at heart, when in reality the masses are competing against the few that hold and represent the power

with this we need to decentralise our systems not to live in a socialists or communist society but when basic human needs are met like food and water i feel like most would pay into a system that is working towards better use of water, while still providing fresh water to everything

working towards fresher and healthier foods prepared closer to you

working towards a more decentralised power grid

where the underlying costs are publicly known and encompassed in the system, and the value created by it is paid for by everyone collectively. where we are able to play people for growing your food/ cooking/ or providing fresh water/ or new scientific research can be paid for by those who want it, taking the coop model and coordinated beyond the 100 people it might encompass but reaching hundreds of millions with the coordination and underlying structure to secure value and account for people contributions to the whole.

i feel like if i could pay for the food i wanted and just that food, but the transaction cost included like a gas fee goes back into the network which is like a tax or sales tax, to help support the systems behind the scene of what that good provides, but removing these barriers of middlemen in between the service/good and allowing it to be captured by the organisational structure of the good to be used how they needed to use it. but still making the interactions so easy that it doesn’t seem like there is a tax but the cost of the good has the revenue split into the parts / for food for example the soil quality, the water/ electricity/ heat/ solar/ transportation/ costs in the individual good, since each part can be broken down and managed separately these interconnecting organisations can be compensated for the cost they used.

the extra part on top is that these organisations for lets say soil quality or transportation will most likely have so many attached parts and the networks they create can be funded in their own ways providing revenue for the underlying good which is hopefully at such a minimal cost and if only those costs are not marked up, but a small fee for all transactions goes back for revenue like ab budget that gets decided on how it gets spent. very similar to how governments have operating budgets.

I wrote this earlier this year on January 31st - the note was titled

“pre to plastic removal credits / regenerative economics “

I was about to read Diatom DAO manifesto and how they plan to address these problems, which were very interesting to me at the time because I had just started to learn about diatoms especially from DiatomsAttack on twitch, who livestreams footage of him identifying and describing diatoms. I got into diatoms from an interest in plants, algae, and just digging deeper on these what are a fundamentals and where we came from.

Also striking me in an earlier stage of interest is the Nikon microphotography contest, that has inspired me so much as well, well worth a look at the micro world and finally being able to be captured, while observing subtleties emerge to see other ways in how these process work.

These inspire so much I was just scrolling through, full descriptions of process and methods, university, and what we are looking at! - Share two here to brighten

Individually labeled axons in an embryonic chick ciliary ganglion
Silica cell wall of the marine diatom Arachnoidiscus sp.

That was a nice dive in to a past, and want to share more but I think I’d rather have it be shorter and than too complex. I also want to focus on envisioning and coordinating to a better world.

To share with you the rest of the movement behind the scene of Desci (Decentralized Science) and what it means to decentralize systems, by using these tools and stacks of technology for solving some of these problems. I had the pleasure of meeting some of these folks but otherwise listening to them and while I was at ETHDenver.

Foresight Institute - Is creating networks of people to tackle complicated scientific endeavours, while experimenting with new elements of funding and coordination. Lovely bright folks

Opsci - Identifying how sharing and funding of science can be accelerated by a decentralized file sharing system and better mechanisms to organize people’s interest and the research they want to conduct and how they get those resources.

VitaDAO - Utilizing the tools of technology and coordination to aid longevity research. Experimenting with how to fund research, by having it available to anyone to come and apply, then sharing openly the process and results.

LabDAO - Which is creating an open network of laboratory services and tools to help more efficiently execute lab work. I love their website showing off the alpha fold protein and code block at the bottom!

love this openness and sharing of process!

If any of these resonate with you please check them out and reach out!

Be curious to learn more in whatever capacity that is.

My hope by sharing this is to become more decentralized, secure, transparent in how we can share such valuable information with each other, to fund each other when we have common goals and shared values. Open and collaborative research
