Shared values

The shared bonds over the internet can be stronger than previous physical bonds, because they are purely created on shared values

and through shared values we can create the strongest bonds that exist.

I saw this note and it resonated with me and I would like to dive in

The bonds we create, the relationships we have are changing, but some are still based very strongly in traditions, in our humanness, things we do not change as quickly. Our language around them though can.

With the digital realm we can create safety nets for systems, so that when the shared value or meeting place can no longer be, we don’t have a collapse of our system, just of that bond.

The moment that is created around a shared experience is so delicate, depending on ones view macro or micro the moment can be created within that space.

So quick can that moment shift, the flow and exchange of energy no longer present. Especially in our world, and culture, society, we don’t take the time to acknowledge why we come together, or acknowledge and create the space around ending that moment and space.

Sometimes it is a mutual ending, not need to be acknowledged or spoken of, but as you come through this space we see these patterns and can recognise them and with our awareness we can decide how we want to decipher and bring meaning from these patterns. Which is the focus for me here, shared values, coordination and bringing meaning and intention into our future.

You may not know someone in real life, but you can share a story or play a game, have a shared experience with someone over this interface. It is a very significant tool we can use. The part of the tool here, is how we can connect more with people, how you may not connect with them over many things, but that one thing that fits and is mutual and beneficial to both, then they can go their separate ways.

Thinking of going to the bathroom, you go and use the toilet, a wonderful plumbing system, maybe go outside on a tree. But when you are done, you relieved, thankful for life and no longer need to empty the bladder. Or when you go on the train, the train stops you hop on and hop off when you are closer to your destination. Maybe you thank the conductor, the people who came before you to construct the tracks and cars, you pay for the service.

As these systems of relationship get more complex, the function of the relationship with them get more abstract. Harder to define how you are giving and taking from the situation. And whether it is mutually beneficial to both parties.

Shared values, making the space and language to define our meaning with one another.

Sometimes it is clear

While others take more time, discerning, identifying, laying them out to create the meaning, or lack of meaning from them.

Align with is this idea of abundance, self-sustaining systems

Where waste is nourishment for another, and we can give as much as we take.

Here we are designing our shared value, and I want to share what I think is a perspective, and action that can be taken to becoming more abundant.

Productive Urban Landscape

https://www.rootsdownga.com/post/productive-urban-landscapes

They are landscapes with intention to be low on maintenance, but still productive, most importantly for its own habitat, micro-organisms, fungi, native plant and animal species working together happily feeding each other.

With this caring attention for other forms of life, it should become a place of comfort and care itself

With more intention we could start to have plants that have human uses and cultivate them in spaces like this.

Such as berries, vegetables, or fruit trees,

Paying attention to pollinators, diversity and health of the area

For roots down, they are already working on this, and have helped make designs and implementations of this,

Check them out for reference, connections, inspiration

I tend to be hopeful, put positive spins on the reality, and towards the gift of life and experience.

To focus on the good we can do, this is why I come here to get better at writing, workout my articulation, and to read what I said and analyse/reflect on it, to document and share this experience.

I love to ask questions and not think that this is one answer, please ask them with me, share them below or reach out if you get a spark of curiosity.

I would like share an account(if you are curious to whom I will share with you who is curious) that is gloomy, but more anticipates the future the be wilder than the imagination.

Because we are driving the historical vehicle with a rear view mirror it appears to us we are driving at a brick wall at a thousand miles per hour. It appears we are destroying the earth polluting the atmosphere, wrecking the oceans, dehumanising ourselves, robbing our children of a future. I believe what in fact is going is we are burning our bridges one by one to the past. We cannot go back mushroom dotted plans of Africa, or the canopied rainforest of 5 million years ago.

We have burned our bridges we are heading towards a forward leaning escape.

If I were dependent on the notion that human institutions are necessary to pull us out of a ditch, I would be very disparrening. No one is in charge not the ims ,the pope, the jews. No one has their finger on what is going on. So why hope? Isn’t it just a runaway train out of control. I don’t think so I think the out of control ness is the most hopeful part about it. After all who’s control is out of,  you and I never controlled it in the first place, why are we anxious about the fact that is out of control. I think if it is out of control then our side is winning.

Thank you, as usual would love to hear from those who had some thoughts sparked while reading this.
