We are drowning in information, and nobody seems to be talking about it the way it actually feels.
Every single day there is another guide to read, another course to buy, another framework promising to be the one that finally makes everything click, another voice online telling you to do this or try that or research this other thing before you dare take a single step forward, and somewhere in the middle of all that noise, the actual doing of the work gets lost completely, because how can you build a business when you are too busy consuming content about building a business.
I see this constantly and I feel it myself some days too, because there is a very specific kind of exhaustion that comes from having access to everything and clarity about nothing, where you finish scrolling through five different pieces of advice from five different experts and somehow you feel less certain than when you started, not more.
Information has become the new procrastination.
It feels productive to sit and learn and research and consume, because you are technically doing something, but learning is not the same as moving, and understanding a strategy is not the same as executing it.
I say this as someone who has bought guides and courses I have never even opened, sitting in some folder somewhere, gathering fairy dust, and I know I am not the only one.
We buy the information. We rarely implement it.
I built my business without half of the information that exists online right now, because a lot of it simply did not exist yet, and what I had instead was real conversations with people who were figuring things out alongside me, people who could tell me honestly when something was not working instead of me having to sift through another twelve step framework to figure that out on my own. That is still what I believe moves people forward faster than any course ever could. Not more information. The right people, at the right time, showing you exactly what to do and exactly how to do it.
That is the whole reason behind the weekly challenges we run inside the Women’s Business Community. I do not just hand you a concept and leave you to interpret it on your own.
Take this week for example, we are working through testimonials, specifically how to share them in a way that actually lands, in a way your audience can see themselves in instead of feeling sold to, because there is a fine line between showing proof that your work matters and sounding like you are bragging, and most of us have never actually been shown where that line sits.
Next week it will be something else entirely, every week there is a new challenge!
Our previous challenges include making offers confidently, marketing, lead generation, and content that builds real connection. Every challenge is focused on the kind of posts that get someone to know you, like you and trust you enough to actually become a client.
A daily lesson, a daily action, and feedback on what you have actually done, not another guide sitting unopened in a folder.
You do not need permission to stop researching, you already have enough information to take the next step. What you might actually need is someone in your corner showing you how to use it, and giving you the feedback to know it is working.
If you are ready to stop collecting information and actually start doing something with it, come join us inside the Women's Business Community on Skool, where every week you get a new challenge, a daily lesson, a clear action to take, and real feedback on what you have done, so you are never left guessing whether it is working.
Click here to join us and let's actually get you moving instead of just reading about it.
