Phase 3 of the 2025 roadmap is now here. Chance Domains are the onchain username system for Chance Markets and the Chance Leaderboard. These .chance domains replace our previously centralized and off chain naming system found on the profile page. This move of bring usernames onchain helps us take another step in the direction towards being fully decentralized.
.chance Domains are about digital identity, decentralization, and adding to our robust onchain system. We are very excited to be working with Janky Studios to bring these domains to life - the same team that helped bring our Price Prediction Markets to life. Our domain system is built using Zephyr Domains by Janky Studios.
Chance Domains are NFTs. This means they can be resold where ever you buy and sell NFTs on the Avalanche C Chain like Salvor, Joepegs, or Opensea. Minting a .chance username will initially cost 2000 $predict. It does not matter if it is 1 letter or 26 letter, it costs a flat 2000 $predict tokens per domain. If you mint more than one domain, you will be able to select which one to set as the “active” domain for use on the Leaderboard.
