Hello Style Pantry friends,
This week felt like a true turn. The air shifted. I reached for a jacket and made a pie in the same 24 hours, which feels like fall’s official RSVP.
Let’s start with the pie.
I tried a tahini pumpkin pie and, honestly, I’m annoyed I didn’t try it sooner. It’s still very much a classic, but the tahini adds this savory depth that makes it feel… rounder? Like the pie equivalent of a cashmere sock. Soft, warm, slightly nutty. I might tweak the spice mix next time, but texture-wise, this one’s a keeper. A future-me recipe if I’ve ever baked one.
Which brings me to this week’s Pantry Stock theme: What am I layering now to make life better later?
Because along with pumpkin pie filling, I’ve been stockpiling comfort in less edible forms too.
Exhibit A: the black leather jacket.
