Our friend Pam Gulling, who discovered us in 2009 because she loved Janis Joplin and said she just knew Janis was in my voice - loved this lyric. I had sent her the first draft and she told me to please, please get it recorded.  
Rob and I were both sittin' in the hammock, under the big beautiful maple tree in our back yard in the fall of 2024 when we got the news that she had passed away from a very painful cancer that had traveled throughout her entire body.
