Tony Humby is now scheduled to stand trial three separate times next April on a long list of charges including sexual assault and child trafficking.
Those trials were scheduled for this fall, but were rescheduled on Thursday at the request of Humby's defence lawyer, Mark Gruchy.

Those three tranches include two counts of sexual assault stemming from Humby's time at Her Majesty's Penitentiary, seven counts of trafficking persons under the age of 18, and eight counts involving allegations from a youth complainant who came forward too late to be included in the main trial.
Humby has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

His first trial was scheduled to conclude in March, but was delayed because of Gruchy's overlapping commitments in the Dean Penney first-degree murder trial. It was rescheduled for the end of May, but Penney's trial ran much longer than anticipated, causing yet another delay in Humby's case.
The final stage of those proceedings is now scheduled to begin Sept. 21.
His trial on two counts of sexual assault is slated for April 6-8.
The trial for eight counts involving a youth complainant is scheduled for April 12-16.
The third and final trial, on the trafficking charges, is scheduled for April 22-30.
