After booking a recent tox appointment, on a whim I decided to add up what every skin treatment I’ve tried in my 30s costs (borderline psychotic behavior?). Let’s just say it was... a lot. Like, maybe kind of embarrassing?? But my second thought was well… I’d do almost every single one of them again. So that says something.

Here’s the thing: when I first started investing in my skin, I had very little idea what anything actually meant. I’d sit in a consultation and nod along while my NP talked about “biostimulators” and “filler placement” and I’d walk out thinking... I sure hope I’m in good hands because, like what?

Thankfully I was. My friend Molly at Skin Pharm skillfully guided me towards the right treatments for my skin specifically (late thirties, Rosacea, some dryness, acne-prone, with a little melasma… fun!) and I paid attention to what actually happened.

So consider this post a guide to everything I’ve tried: what each treatment actually is, what it does, what it costs, and whether it was worth the money. No jargon, no in-office pressure. Let’s get into it!

Keep reading for before and after pics, a break down of each treatment I’ve received, their costs & my rating of each!
