Friday Faves: What I've Worn in Aspen

Good morning from the mountains! Our family has been in Colorado for just over a week enjoying sunshine, fresh air, cool nights, so many steps and even more good eats. I feel so fortunate for this time together here, but I’d be remiss to not share how simultaneously hard it has felt for us to be away from our best friends/family as they face health challenges for their child. Without sharing too much, they were supposed to be here in Aspen with us and instead are across the country undergoing treatment and surgery for their son. We’re praying big for his recovery, his doctors and his parents’ peace and so appreciate the love and positive thoughts you have shared.

On a lighter note, I’m sharing a round up of all of my Aspen outfits below — some with extra mountain flair, some totally repeatable regardless of scenery. Aspen is always a fun place to get a little more dressed up, add some western flair, and don you cutest athleisure sets. A little mix of everything below so let’s dive in!

Last Wednesday: My airport outfit from Dallas to Aspen. The most comfortable and flattering barrel/utility pants (note: I did hem them about an inch), my favorite white tee, a new jacket from Zara (wearing the XS) and my cute paracord sandals.

Last Thursday Morning: First morning in Aspen! The most comfortable biker shorts, a contrasting tank, my AV sweatshirt, the only socks I’ll ever buy and my fave sneakers for walking.

Last Thursday Night: Outfit for a casual dinner in town. My happy yellow drawstring pants, a flattering tank, and easy leather slides. (My hat is from Telluride last year, but linked a similar here).

Last Friday Morning: another biker shorts set! The layered tank here, shorts here, socks & shoes here. Also linked my hat, sunnies & bandana here!

Last Friday Night: First date night out to Betula then Catch Steak! Wearing a Kemo Sabe hat, black silk racerback dress (mine is sold out but linking similar here), a stone belt worn as a wrap necklace, western belt and black cowboy boots.

Monday Night: Casual dinner at Ajax Tavern! My $35 bandana pants (wearing XS but also used these button adjustors to make slightly tighter in the waist), easiest cotton blouse, paracord sandals and leather tote with charms.

Tuesday Morning: a go-to workout outfit for Pilates at Tonic Method: buttery leggings, comfortable bra tank, and zip up sweatshirt (in size Small).

Tuesday Night: outfit for dinner with friends at Sant Ambroeus featuring my new La Vie skirt (exact print available in their warehouse sale this weekend). Everything else linked here.

Thursday Night: early dinner with the kids at Campo de Fiori! Great pasta, great service. Have already gotten a lot of wear out of these $35 silk shorts (wearing size XS)! Everything else linked here.
