Hello, and welcome.

I’m Cassia Moonglen, author of cozy paranormal and fantasy romance filled with magic, found family, gentle humour, and happily-ever-afters.

I write stories for readers who want comfort rather than chaos. My books feature grown-up characters, healthy relationships, a little steam, plenty of heart, and worlds that feel like somewhere you’d happily spend an afternoon.

You’ll find shifters, witches, magical bookstores, herbalists, crocheters, teachers, sanctuary protectors, and the occasional fate bond. What you won’t find are dark, high-stakes stories filled with endless angst. Life is challenging enough already.

I’ve loved stories for as long as I can remember. Reading has always been one of my favourite ways to rest, escape, and recharge. When I began writing romance, I found myself drawn to creating the kinds of books I most wanted to read: hopeful stories with kind people, meaningful connections, and endings that leave you feeling a little lighter than when you started.

I write from New Zealand, usually with a warm drink and four children yelling nearby. My worlds continue to expand as new characters wander into my imagination and insist they have stories worth telling. If you’d like to learn about my first book and its origin story, click here.
