Lately, I’ve found myself writing more often.
Not long essays. Just thoughts that arrive, almost like a whisper in my ear. A sentence while I’m out walking Miss Evie or a question that won’t let go…
Something I notice that feels worth paying attention to. I’ve been sharing those thoughts here Substack as Notes.
Here are a few from this past week.
The invisible shapes our lives more than …
When I looked back over this week’s Notes, I realised they had all been circling one truth.
We can’t change what we can’t see.
Perhaps that’s why awareness matters so much.
Not because it instantly changes our lives, but because it places our habits on center stage and expectations and beliefs we’ve been carrying without noticing.
It’s also why this week’s lunchtime conversation, details below, feels like a natural continuation of these Notes.
We’ll be considering what it really means to stop putting yourself last, not through guilt or grand resolutions, but by noticing where you’ve quietly disappeared from your own life.
Because every worthwhile change begins with one simple moment:
“I can see it now.”
That’s often where everything begins.
If this week’s Notes stirred something in you, I’d love you to join me for this week’s lunchtime conversation.
Until next Sunday,
Carolyn
