Welcome to Unfancy’s Sunday ritual where we plan our outfits together. I share five looks I’ve planned for my week, and then invite you to do the same. My hope is that it gives you a calm + creative start to your week.

Good morning!

First of all, I have a STUNNER of a post coming your way on Wednesday. It’s a travel capsule that I put together using the sudoku method — and the visuals have me swooning. Summer’s got me so inspired with it’s simple clothes and pool-blue palette, and it shows. If you missed last Wednesday’s post — 23 ways to layer when it’s too hot to layer — it’s a visual treat too. Anyway, stay tuned for Wednesday!

The summer solstice is on the horizon! It’s one of my favorite unofficial holidays, and I try to mark it each year by taking a walk as the sun sets late. The other day, I noticed streaks of pink clouds still lingering in the sky at 9:40pm!

This year, in addition to my golden-hour walk, I want to get some fresh berries, make homemade whipped cream, and enjoy it out in the garden after dinner. The first half of June disappeared quickly, lost in a muddled mix of day-to-day concerns. I know there’s no slowing life down, but even still, setting aside a little time to mark the moment really nourishes me.

So let’s get into some outfits! Neutral summer is going STRONG. Here’s what I’m wearing this week:

This week’s intention:

Why not take a little time to mark the moment?

And there you have it!

When you see this post in your inbox each Sunday, I hope it’s an invitation to, yes, plan some outfits, but more importantly, to start the week with intention. I hope it reminds you that there really are some simple things we can do to make our days feel lighter.

See you Wednesday for the travel capsule post. And if you have questions in the meantime — how to navigate a change in your style, closet organization, capsule wardrobe creation, or anything else — I offer 1:1 support and would love to help. You can learn more here.
