A week ago, I shared an article about getting to know a quilt maker from the 1930’s through her stash of clippings, letters and quilt block templates. If you missed it, you could catch up here. I felt like a true detective piecing bits of Mrs. Frank Card’s life in the 1930’s together using written correspondence, old envelopes and some of her quilt making materials from a box gifted to me by a friend. Unfortunately, many of my questions were unanswered, including those surrounding some letters from the Happy Day Quilt Club.
