Many thanks to Pique for partnering with us on today’s newsletter. This one gets longgg and might get cut off, so click through to the post to read the whole thing.

Back when I was an event planner, part of my job was driving to the wholesale flower market in Austin to choose flowers for clients’ parties I was planning. It was one of those things I couldn’t believe I got paid to do. The first few months, I’d walk into the market and stand in front of buckets of ranunculus and peonies and whatever was in season, just taking it all in.

And then, somewhere along the way… it started feeling like just another thing to check off my to-do list. I’d race into the market with 5 minutes to spare, grabbing what I needed and walking right past the exact flowers that used to stop me in my tracks. I’d stopped noticing the beauty right in front of me.

Here's the thing I only realized in hindsight: taste isn't something you're either born with or not. It's something you develop by choosing, again and again, to pay attention to the world around you. And when our schedules are overflowing, and we’re rushing from one thing to the next, it can be really hard to just notice. Hustle culture didn't just steal our time—it stole our taste, tricking us into believing there's always a shortage of time. And you can't develop an eye for beauty when you're rushing past everything.

If we want to continue developing our taste / eye / unique POV, we have to slow down enough to actually see what’s in front of us: the light, the color, the way something’s made (even better if you jot it down or take a photo to remember later). You can’t be in a hurry and be present at the same time, and I’ve found that beauty shows up when we fully show up.

So today’s picks are full of the things I noticed and loved this month because I slowed down enough to see and savor them. The faves that made life feel more beautiful and made June feel more alive.

I’ve been slow to get on the collagen train because (let’s be honest) I wasn’t sure if it actually did anything, and I’m not looking for any new habits to add to my stack just because. But recently, I listened to an interview with an iconic dermatologist who said that a daily dose of collagen was one of the most impactful things you could do for smoother, more radiant skin, so I decided it was time.

One month into Pique’s Carrara Marine Collagen Peptides and it’s earned a permanent spot in my morning coffee. Two scoops, dissolves clean, and I love the subtle flavor it adds (it has organic Madagascar vanilla and coconut cream that promotes collagen absorption).

I’ve learned that the type of collagen is really important if you want to see results, and this one is the gold standard: it combines Type I marine collagen for skin radiance and smoothness with Type II collagen to support joints, elasticity, and connective tissue. And clinical studies show it promotes smoother, more radiant skin while reducing the biological age of your immune cells. I love that it’s supporting more than just how my skin looks—it’s taking a beauty-plus-longevity approach that can be hard to find.

Summer bodycare routine is on lock: before showering, I dry brush, then slather myself in this Salt of the Earth Body Scrub to slough off any dry skin. After drying off, I rub this firming body butter head-to-toe, and the glow is so real (and also perfectly prepped for a sunless tan.)

One small swap that’s improved my daily routine: this next-level toothbrush. My teeth feel so much cleaner, and the battery life is seriously impressive (I haven’t charged it in over three weeks). After trying mine, I ordered them for the kids too.

Being in Malibu makes me want to end the day with a glass of cold rosé on the patio, but on days when I want to skip the alcohol, I’ve been loving a sunset mocktail. I’ve been doing a blood orange spritz topped with a little sparkling water, and it instantly feels like summer vacay.

Lunch lately: a slice of sprouted toast topped with a little cream cheese, some avo and tomato, this insanely delish smoked salmon (truly next level), and a handful of dill or sprouts. I could seriously eat this every day (and I do). Use code CAMILLE10 to get 10% off.

My kitchen never smells better than when I’m burning my iconic Tomato Candle—except when paired with the Hand Soap by the sink, and I’m fully living my best summer life.

Very into effortless matching sets I can throw on and feel pulled together without thinking about it. Currently very into The Liz Set made in machine-washable and dryable (!!) cashmere—pull it on with sandals and you’re done (also in my cart: The Lucy Set and I can feel my self-control fading).

Also wearing this striped linen button-up and linen shorts with a straw sun hat and Birkenstocks to the beach—even this solids girl can’t resist these classic summer stripes.

Leaning into quiet luxury vibes with this round-cut stone necklace paired with a simple V-neck tee (I wear a small), perfect-fitting jeans (CamilleStyles15 for 15% off), and a classic sweater thrown over my shoulders—the stone reads like a real heirloom, and somehow people always ask if it’s vintage.

My friend Adriene (and our March cover girl!) launched the most beautiful activewear brand this month, and I want it all. Veta is thoughtful and clean, and I will be living in the jogger and bralette for the foreseeable future.

Speaking of investments, let’s talk about my new bag. Or at least, the one I’m borrowing for the month, thanks to my new Vivrelle membership that is honestly the most fun I’ve had online shopping in ages. Essentially, it’s a club where you can borrow designer bags, jewelry, and watches from top designers without having to commit long-term. That said, I love this YSL so much, I’m already considering whether I may want to purchase at the special members’ price so I can keep it forever (send help!)

Vivrelle gave us a code: use CAMILLESTYLES for 50% off your first two months of membership.

For me, summer means lazy hair days: fewer washes and letting my hair air dry as much as possible. I’ve been loving this shampoo + conditioner, then scrunching in this volumizing mousse while my hair is damp, then when it’s dry, I spritz on this shine serum mist for a final hydration boost. (Use CAMILLE15 for 15% at Crown Affair)

I’ve also completely converted to this mermaid brush for detangling when my hair’s wet, and the boar bristle version for adding shine and controlling frizz when my hair is dry. Not only are they gorgeous on my bathroom counter, but they’ve made such a difference in my overall hair health since I started using them (currently 30% off for just one more day!)

Summer glow routine: I’ve been mixing up my usual skincare this month and keeping it really simple with a handful of actives: this soothing plant-powered cleanser followed by Chebula Active Serum and Phyto-Retinol Advanced Clinical Cream to increase cell turnover without disrupting the skin barrier. Three times a week, I swipe on these incredibly effective glycolic acid exfoliating pads after using my favorite cleansing balm, then let the acids do their thing for 5 minutes before applying other skincare. (Code CAMILLE15 for 15% off at True Botanials).

As for my daily sunscreen, I’ve been loving this Serum Skin Tint with SPF 40. It helps ward off my melasma while giving just enough glowy coverage.

Our first month at the beach house has included lots of styling, organizing, and finally seeing my design dreams come together after years of planning… all while lots of construction is still happening around us. I’ll be sharing lots more in the months ahead, but for now, a few random favorite things around the house that are sparking daily joy for me:

So far, the furniture everyone has asked me about all came from Lulu & Georgia: these accent chairs at the round table in front of the fireplace… the gorgeous oak mirror that hangs in Phoebe’s bathroom… the stone pedestal table that looks so luxurious next to the couch… and the sculptural chair that makes a statement in our bedroom corner. Makes me so happy to see these pieces bring the spaces to life.

A not-yet-landscaped yard means that Charlie is bringing tons of dirt into the house on a daily basis. I’ve been extra grateful for the durability of this washable runner that lives in our entryway. When it starts to show a little dirt, I pop in the washer, lay it on the deck to dry, and it comes out good-as-new. (Code CAMILLE15 for 15% off.)

I stocked every bathroom in the house with the Turkish Ultra Plush Bath Towels in 'oak'—softest I've owned, and they hang spa-like from the hooks. Boll and Branch has become my favorite source for bath and bedding everything, and they’re having a big sale right now—you can use code SUMMER for 20% off sitewide. Other favorites that I absolutely swear by:

  • Down Alternative Duvet Insert: we use the “lightweight” on our bed and it feels like a cloud.

  • The Signature Vintage Washed Sheet Set is softer than soft and has that relaxed lived-in look that usually takes years to achieve. (The “Build-Your-Dream-Bed” tool is so fun to see how all the color combos look on your actual bed.)

One more bed essential I have to mention is my Omnia Pillow. It’s great for posture and has cooling properties that actually work. I love switching up my pillow situation each night, and this one feels like such a treat. Use the code CAMILLE for $15 off at Sleep & Glow.
