There’s a version of founder life where you’re either short of money or scared of running out of it, and either way you’re not supposed to say so. The product has to look functional. The pitch has to look inevitable. So you don’t say it, not to customers, not to investors, most days not even to yourself.
CameThru is partnering with The Sitdown UK to power the social layer at their next event, For My Founders: Money On My Mind, an evening built around exactly that gap.
I first came across Tope Icie at Radar at HSBC last year. He opened the evening and set the tone for the whole room, great on stage presence and one of the best sessions I’ve seen at getting a room actually talking rather than staring at a stage. Who this is for
Over half of UK small business owners avoid their finances. One in five are too afraid to ask a financial question. 82% of small businesses fail on cash flow problems that go undiscussed until it’s too late.
