Today I want to celebrate our collective identity, and further embrace, all the pieces that we are made of.
Each piece, small or big, has contributed to our larger narrative.

Often, what we perceive as our identity is really a combination of circumstances, family, friends, people, places, lovers, challenges, and experiences, events that nourish and shape our ever-evolving identity.
If we pause and remember, tapping into the unconscious, into the consciousness of the universe, God or however you call it, the very fabric of the cosmos, we realize that the circumstantial construct of identity can be shaped with intention in any direction. It is influenced by our circumstances and environment, yet we always hold the power to cultivate it into what we want it to be.
We are constantly evolving, connecting with new visions for our lives and for the world.
For anyone who feels stuck in an imposed or circumstantial identity, remember: in your very breathing, you have the power to absorb a new vision for your identity that will truly serve you.
And if, as a collective, we feel that society has become something we are not proud of, we must ask ourselves:
How did we get here?
Is this collective identity intentional, circumstantial or imposed?
Who, what, and why are we in these circumstances?
The more we ask, the clearer it becomes that we can collectively choose a new vision for ourselves, one we can be proud of.
Acknowledgment - Recognize both the wounds and the strengths that shape us.
Dialogue - Create safe spaces to share experiences and listen deeply to each other.
Education - Challenge imposed narratives and embrace diverse histories and truths.
Creativity - Use art, storytelling, music, dancing, movies, theater, comedy, and culture to reimagine who we are.
Compassion - Extend kindness to ourselves and others as we shift and grow.
Vision - Actively imagine and co-create identities that reflect dignity, pride, and freedom.
