I have been writing my dreams down for the past 13 years and counting. Nearly 10,000 typed pages. My dreams are prophetic. They come true. My closest people have always known…because some have been about them. My dream archive is becoming my next book. You're reading from it first.
This is the Awakening Journal. A section of my Substack where I share documented dreams and experiences from my nearly 10,000 page personal archive, and writings from my forthcoming book.

Bear with me, bear with me, bear with me. Only twice in the past year…or ever…have I tried to share my dreams publicly - with people whom I do not know - and before I decided to now start this section of my Substack as a precursor to my forthcoming book. This podcast episode embedded above is one of those times, and this was likely the first and last time I'll try this format because it simply lacks the detail, depth, and precision of the written versions of my dreams, where the act of writing itself seems to capture something that speaking in real time simply cannot.
I do so knowing that the dreams themselves as well as my own process and understanding of what has been happening to and through me, the truth of what and who I am and what I am capable of, might spark something in someone else.
As a baseline I want to establish a couple of things as I share this podcast episode with you:
#1. I no longer consider my dreams to be symbolic. Not ever. I used to. Before I would later see something come true 2 days, 3 months, 6 months, 10 years, however long later.
Even though I never in a million years thought the contents from my now massive dream archive would become my next book, had I not been recording my dreams so faithfully - which also makes many of them stick out in my mind like a memory of an event I experienced - I would not have known or readily recalled I first dreamt the thing that I then see in “real” life by the time it appears or occurs. I would have probably just thought it was deja vu.
#2. I don’t try to “interpret” my dreams the way most people do. Mine are never wasted, meaning my dreams do not use me or me them to process emotion or experiences that are too hard for me to handle while I’m awake. Or to help me process or release the previous days experiences.
It is no different than when in physical life we are experiencing, learning, growing, understanding, and loving just through the process of living it. Of living life. It’s a natural byproduct or, rather, there is always the opportunity to see something life is trying to teach us in some way if we look. Especially if we need to make sense of something that, otherwise, makes zero sense to us. But once we don’t need to make sense of something, we just see it as it is. We just experience it as it is for what it is. This is no different in how I experience my dreams. They are literal. Especially the prophetic ones and the ones that come true in this plane. They are never just for entertainment sake, never random or arbitrary, and never for me to try to understand some archetype or symbol that I then have to try to apply or make fit or make sense of for my waking life. - First of all, consciousness is way too intelligent for this; Nature, too intelligent.
My dreams absolutely guide me and they are usually (almost always) showing me what’s coming next in my life, what to prepare for, what to expect, even if I don’t always recognize it or believe it at first, but they absolutely do not waste my attention or energy (literally), nor do they waste real estate in that they don’t take up time nor space by trying to teach me a lesson or for me to process something for waking life just for the sake of it. Again, if that happens, it is a byproduct of the story I am being shown, told, and experiencing in the dream.
My dreams are not symbolic puzzles that I need to try to decode. They are full narrative experiences with scene shifts, rich sensory detail, deep emotional texture, physical specificity, and characters - many I have not met, but later do irl - with distinct energy.
So what I have come to know is that even when, before, my dreams also made sense or I only understood them as symbology, before many of them later came true, they also later came true exactly as I saw it in the dream and they also still made sense as symbology at the time that I was still thinking and operating that way. - So when you listen to this podcast episode know that I was explaining it the way I did as an experiment in sharing one verbally for the first time, and because that is one way that I can also “read it,” if I wish to. It’s for the listeners sake. That was my experiment with it. As a lesson or truth to be told. Which is also true. Even if I later have this exact experience in real life, which I just might. I never know.
There are many, many great minds who have experienced and spoken about dreaming and dreams. Characters in myth and real life historical and present day figures. Dreams have been considered part of sacred text in virtually every human tradition that has ever existed since the beginning of time, and before time as we count it today. Ancient Egypt, Indigenous cultures, Hebrew Bible, the Greeks, Carl Jung’s entire life work. In the Christian Bible alone: Joseph, Daniel, Jacob, Solomon, The Magi, and Joseph - the husband of Mary. In the Holy Quran: Prophet Muhammad, Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), Prophet Yusuf (Joseph).
I haven’t ever or have never had the need to research much of other people’s work in terms of dreaming or what is happening when we, or I, dream because the moment I have picked up someone else’s work that someone else recommended to me in order for me to better understand my experiences, they fall short. The work falls short in terms of what my experiences have been, not that it is not or was not valid for the person offering or studying theirs. So I stopped doing this many years ago, or rather never felt the need to continue shortly after I tried this kind of “dream research.” None have completely resonated with me, although I respect them all. However, for me, they hit a wall.
As with all things, experience is the best teacher.
At some point, the multidimensional experiences that I have been having all these years, that I have, apparently, been living, simply feel like upgrading your software on your iPhone. At first, you don’t know what the hell is going on and what to do with all these new features, where they came from, or why they even exist. But then you somehow start to play with it and you learn. You figure it out. You must. Or you sit and wait for the next upgrade that will sort it all out. Otherwise, your operating device that is you will not function the way it was meant to or at full capacity. This is how I experience my spiritual gifts in relation to the rest of me: The software and the hardware. These two things must work together.
I have different aspects of my life, my world, that make up the whole and my work is no different. Meaning, the things that I create and my actual business as an entrepreneur. My work lives in many places just like I feel I do through and in my dreams. This podcast episode that I am sharing is one of those things and it lives in another place that is my Grow with Me by Suhailah podcast on Spotify (Also on Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, iHeart Radio and anywhere else you listen to podcasts.) I launched my podcast platform the first day of Spring last year - 2025. This particular episode (“When Truth Is Spoken Reality Shifts”) that I am sharing here now in this Awakening Journal section of my Substack was released on Spotify back in early November of last year (November 8, 2025), so exactly 4 months ago now. Right after I dreamt it.
Happy listening.
