An introduction to the a MVMNT inside LAW OF 39

Certain themes would keep resurfacing from different directions as if the messages themselves were trying different entry points.

Almost like they were saying:

“Ok… if I can’t reach you this way…maybe I’ll place it here. Or here. Or inside one of these.”

That realization changed how I started seeing the archive.

Not as disconnected projects…but as various signals.

Different forms carrying similar frequencies.

The next few pieces are connected in that way.

A trilogy of sorts.

A LAW OF 39 lesson.
A STORYTIME entry.
And a THE MEANINGS visual essay.
(This one could have easily been a STORYTIME entry.)

Three different forms.
One underlying signal:

What if much of what I called “self” was actually a draft?

Since identity is constructed through environment, conditioning, pain deposits, survival, roles, performance, repetition, and lived experience…

I started asking myself:

How often did I identify with that construction so completely…
that I mistook it for the entirety of who I was?

Because if that draft is not the totality…then becoming may not be about inventing or constructing myself at all.

It may be about recognizing what was already there beneath the draft - undergirding it.

Some ideas arrived as philosophy.
Some arrived as memory.
Some arrived through art long before I fully understood why I made it.

But they are beginning to speak to each other now…

Head nods and looks of confirmation from across the field to each other.

Looks of approval from finally connecting all the dots… to me.
