This week we read 268 pieces from 149 firms. Here is what investors wrote about, the deals behind it, and who to talk to.

What it is. The main narratives investors wrote about this week — each with a plain summary, the firms involved, and the deals behind it.

How we build it. We read every newsletter and blog from the funds we track, group what they wrote into narratives, and tag each as NEW or CONTINUING.

What lifecycle means. A narrative starts when multiple firms write about it, grows into consensus as more publishers pile in, then fades.

Where the links go. Every fund name links to that fund’s card on our site; deal and article links open the source piece on the Byblos feed.

How to use it. See what investors care about right now. Watch NEW tags to catch themes before consensus, and CONTINUING counts to see which last.

What it is. One card per fund — what they wrote this week, their focus over three months, and how to talk to them.

How we build it. We pull everything a fund published this week against their normal posting rate. Louder means more than usual — a fund getting louder on a theme is paying more attention to it.

How to use it. Find the fund you want to pitch, read their three-month focus and talking points, and open with what they actually wrote. That’s the difference between a cold pitch and a relevant one.

Same deal with the hyperlinks on fund names leading to their VC cards on our app.

Here’s the short version.

The big picture: two economies ran the week.

  • AI infrastructure — huge, but wobbling. Nvidia floated a $250 billion backstop for OpenAI’s data centers and put $5 billion into Safe Superintelligence. Yet the same week, Korea’s market crashed 40%, memory stocks turned bearish, and a star AI fund gave back most of a 439% run. The spending is still enormous; the confidence behind it is cracking. Build faster vs. this can’t last is the tension under almost every AI story right now.
