Hey Friends 👋🏾…
Welcome back to the The Burnout Report! This is your biweekly check-in where I share what’s keeping me busy (without burning out), the latest podcast and blog gems, and a little “burnout break” to help you pause and reset. Think of it like a coffee chat in your inbox—part update, part inspiration, part reminder that you’re not in this alone.

This week on Busyness and Burnout, I’m unpacking imposter syndrome in a solo episode: Why Doing More Will Never Make You Enough. If you’ve ever felt like piling on more projects was the only way to prove yourself, this one’s for you.

Our culture glorifies busyness—but more hustle doesn’t always mean more value. In my latest post, I share why reframing success around rest is key to sustaining your creativity (and your sanity).

It’s a season of fresh starts, and here’s what’s on my plate right now:
Creative Obsessions is officially back open for new client projects! If you’ve been waiting to refresh your brand, web, or strategy, my schedule is now open.
Prepping to return to teaching yoga for elementary school kids—a whole different kind of creative joy that I haven’t experienced since pre-covid.

With my schedule filling up between teaching, client projects, and the podcast, I’ve been leaning on a simple but powerful shift: making rest part of the plan, not the reward.
For so long, I treated rest as something I could only have once the work was done—an optional add-on at the end of a long list. But the truth is, the list is never really done. By flipping the script and scheduling rest like I would a meeting or class, I’ve noticed a huge difference: I’m sharper during work blocks, calmer when things don’t go as planned, and more present when I step away.
Look at your calendar this week and block off one 30–minute window just for rest—no email, no phone, no multitasking. Protect it like you would a client call. You might be surprised how much more productive (and peaceful) the rest of your day feels.
I love sharing tools that actually make the busy feel lighter. Here are a couple of my own resources designed to help you create more space, clarity, and ease in your work:

Take a full-body stretch—arms up, shoulders back, chest open. Inhale deeply, exhale slowly. Sometimes the best productivity hack is giving your body a chance to reset.
