September cordage course

Do you know what cordage is? Thanks to Cancord for this definition “A collective term for rope, cord and twine manufactured from textile fibers.” It can also refer to a measure of wood but that’s for a different course 😉.

Summer

The lapwings and curlews have moved away; their lyrical calls replaced by the much louder and demanding tawny owl adolescents. It must be summer, abundance all around.

High Spring

Monday I think late April/ early May should be called High Spring - where there are the occasional days of sunshine with heat, along with the bright tulips, the blustery blossom and the ever possible bite of frost or at least a strong gale.
