Hello my beautiful beings,
Some retreats are not remembered only by the place, the food, or even the sessions
They are remembered by what silently shifted inside people.
Our recent 3-day Spiritual Recharge Retreat, held from 29th May 2026 in Mussoorie, became one such space.
People came carrying many things & Questions:
Heaviness.
Relationship pain.
Family patterns.
Emotional blocks.
Confusion.
And somewhere deep inside, a small hope that maybe this time, something could finally feel lighter.
It was shodhan.
A cleansing.
A clearing.
A return to self.
The first day was dedicated to Shareer ka Shodhan, the cleansing of the body.
Most people think the body only carries physical tiredness. But the body is also the first place where life’s unprocessed emotions begin to sit.
A tight chest may not always be only stress.
A heavy stomach may not always be only digestion.
A stiff shoulder may sometimes be the weight of responsibilities never expressed.
A tired face may sometimes be years of being strong.
On Day 1, participants were guided to become aware of how their body was holding their life story.
Some came in saying, “I don’t know why I feel so heavy.”
By the end of the day, many realised the body was not against them. It was only asking to be heard.
One participant shared that after a process, their breathing felt open for the first time in many days. Another felt that the body was finally relaxing, not because everything outside had changed, but because something inside had stopped fighting.
That is the power of body cleansing.
It does not begin with punishment.
It begins with listening.
Day 2 was dedicated to Mann and Buddhi ka Shodhan, the cleansing of the mind and intellect.
This was the day where many deeper patterns started becoming visible.
Because the mind is very clever.
It can justify pain.
It can normalise fear.
It can protect old wounds.
It can keep repeating the same thought and still call it “practical thinking.”
But when the mind becomes still, even for a few moments, the real truth starts coming up.
This is something I have seen again and again.
1- Like, someone came with a relationship blockage and said, “My partner never understands me.”
But when guided deeper, the real wound may be, “I have never felt emotionally safe since childhood.”
2- Someone said, “Money is not coming.”
But underneath, the real pattern may be, “I do not feel worthy of receiving without struggle.”
3- Someone said, “I am confused about life.”
But the real blockage may be, “I have lived too long according to other people’s expectations.”
During the retreat, many such moments happened.
Resolutions happened on the spot because once the real blockage was seen clearly, the energy around it began to shift.
This is why cleansing the mind and intellect is so important.
Because life does not change only by thinking more.
Life changes when the right thought meets the right awareness.
Day 3 was dedicated to Atma ka Shodhan, the cleansing at the soul level.
This day was not about doing more.
It was about becoming more present.
By the third day, many participants had already moved through physical release and mental clarity. Now the retreat entered a deeper space, where people were not just looking at their problems. They were looking at their soul journey.
Why this pattern?
Why this relationship?
Why this family?
Why this child?
Why this repeated pain?
Why this inner calling?
Atma ka Shodhan is not about escaping life. It is about understanding life from a higher place.
Many times, what we call a “problem” is actually a portal.
A difficult relationship became a mirror.
A parenting trigger became an invitation.
A health issue became a message.
A financial blockage became a question of self-worth.
A long-held pain became a door to forgiveness.
This is where the retreat became deeply personal.
Guidance was not given like general motivation.
It came for the exact blockage a person was carrying.
And I have always believed this:
When the root is touched, the person does not need to be pushed.
Something inside them naturally starts shifting.
One of the most powerful activities during the retreat was the Anger Release Activity.
Participants were blindfolded and guided to dance to a powerful song, not for performance, not for looking graceful, not for doing the steps correctly, but to allow the body to release the anger it had been holding.
That moment reminded me of something very important:
Emotions do not disappear because we ignore them.
They release when they feel safe enough to move.
After the activity, many participants shared that they felt lighter, relieved, and deeply open from within.
This is what happens when anger is not suppressed or spiritually bypassed, but safely released through the body.
The goal was not to become angry.
The goal was to stop carrying anger unconsciously.
And for many, this process became a turning point in the retreat.
Many participants came with their children.
And this was not treated as a disturbance.
It was treated as part of the design.
Beautiful and engaging activities were planned for the kids so that parents could give themselves fully to the retreat without guilt or distraction.
The children enjoyed, played, explored, made new friends, and had their own little world of joy while the parents entered their inner world of healing.
This matters.
Because many parents, especially mothers, often keep postponing their own healing because they feel, “How will I focus if my child is with me?”
This retreat showed something different.
Healing does not need to exclude family.
With the right space, even the child can feel held while the parent heals.
The biggest shift was not that people became “positive.”
They understood their patterns.
They saw their blocks.
They received guidance.
They felt rejuvenated.
They experienced resolution.
They remembered that healing is not always heavy. Sometimes healing can also feel like fresh air, warm conversations, peaceful silence, laughter, tears, and the relief of finally being understood.
One person came with confusion and left with direction.
One came with heaviness and left feeling open.
One came with emotional pain and found the courage to look at it.
One came as a parent and left remembering themselves as a soul too.
That is the purpose of a spiritual recharge.
Not to escape life.
But to return to life with cleaner energy.
Shodhan is not just religious or ritualistic. It is deeply practical.
It means gently clearing what was never truly you fear from family, guilt from society, anger from being unheard, shame from comparison, and pressure from expectations.
As these layers begin to release, a person does not become someone else.
They return to themselves.
That is what this retreat was about.
Not performance.
Not perfection.
A return.
One of the most special parts of this retreat was that nothing was random.
Every process, activity, flow, and even the food and snacks were channelled with deep intention, so that the entire space could support healing and proper resolution.
The intention was simple: to help every participant feel safe, open, receptive, and aligned for inner work.
That is why the retreat did not feel like a regular event. It felt like a carefully held healing space, where every detail supported the next layer of transformation.
These three days reminded us that every person is carrying something in the body, in the mind, in relationships, or in silence.
But when the space is safe, the guidance is clear, and the heart feels held, healing begins naturally.
For every participant who came with trust and openness, this retreat became more than a program.
It became a pause.
A cleansing.
A remembrance.
A reconnection.
May every soul reading this feel lighter, supported, and gently guided on their own journey of healing.
With Warmth & Love,
Dr Monika Singh Shubhaa💕
