ICE is teaching American pavement the shape of a father’s body while holding the living down to learn the sound of his last cry.

Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was a 52-year-old construction worker driving his brother and two coworkers to work when ICE agents surrounded his van and shot him through the torso. The surviving men said agents dragged him onto the pavement, restrained them, and forced them to watch as Lorenzo bled and cried for help.

I intended this post to be in honor of Lorenzo, but as I write this ICE has murdered Joan Sebastián Durán Guerrero in Biddeford, Maine. Joan was 26 years old and a father. This post is for him, too.
In right-wing groups they cheer these murders. They write more. They write millions more. They write it like a prayer. I decided to ask one woman what it would feel like if the body they were celebrating belonged to her own child.
This is deserved revenge. A momentary pain inflicted on those that hope for permanent pain on others.
I went through the most vile comments looking for someone who had a family member’s name visible on their profile. I sent several messages, and left comments on their posts, until one woman replied.
Jennie.
Jennie is a mid-40s right-wing Christian woman with bible verses in her posts. Jennie was hoping ICE would kill millions more.
Oh but Jennie, it could be your child.

All I have are words. I used them the only way I know how. I hope they sit behind her eyes every time she opens her mouth to cheer for more dead fathers. A bullet of words lodged in her brain. I hope they cut her a little every time she tries to smile about another immigrant dying.
I hope she never gets them out.
She is only one of so many hate-filled death patriots that exist on the internet cheering for more blood.
I intend to keep causing them whatever harm I can.
