Staying in the Midwest and staying with Hearst…that’s what EDDIE GOMEZ is doing as he trades Kansas City for Des Moines. He’ll be stepping into the KCCI Assistant Creative Services Director slot at the Iowa CBS affiliate. He’s been at Hearst’s KMBC where he has been holding down the Sr. CS Writer/Producer role. So, it’s a step up for him – gotta love that. He’s bringing a lot of TV experience with him, having worked in Baltimore at Scripps’ WMAR and in Bakersfield. He’s worked in LA and has most interesting production company roles in his background. Excellent new ACSD choice! Well Dunne! Eddie.
Sorry to report that KPRC in Houston, Graham Media’s NBC operation, had some downsizing going on Tuesday. Luckily Houston has a great deal of marketing slots outside the day-to-day TV routine.
