Making America Grate Again

And again and again

While Americans were media-forced, laser-focused on DJT’s Middle East Live Fire Drill and frantically donning their World Cup, civilized society took a giant step backward, dragging safety and civility with it.

You already know the MSM does not broadcast “the news”. Journalism that once respected the responsibility that inspired the First Amendment, practiced by trained, educated, principled journalists, has degenerated and decomposed into the fetid corpse spewing government propaganda seen on TV screens, read in the newspapers, or heard on whatever radio station may still carry “the news”.

Black residents’ horrific, obscene, violent reaction to the Guilty verdict and sentencing of Karmelo Anthony for the murder of Austin Metcalf in Frisco, TX (pop. 200,805) may be the seminal event that brings the simmering cauldron of societal confrontation to a very ugly boil.

An X poster summarized the facts:

“Karmelo Anthony said ‘F— y’all. I’m not gonna leave. Y’all are a bunch of p—s. Y’all aren’t gonna do nothing about it,’ after he was told to leave the tent FIFTEEN TIMES, adding ‘touch me and see what happens.’

So yeah, he clearly instigated the fight. And the ‘shove’ from Austin Metcalf was a light push or nudge according to all the witnesses.”

Here’s Jenna McCarthy with a bit of finess…

“For lucky readers who avoid all lamestream media and are blissfully unaware, last year, 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony fatally stabbed fellow teenager Austin Metcalf during a confrontation at a Texas track meet. Anthony is Black. Metcalf was white. You can guess where this is going.

Anthony claimed self-defense. Metcalf’s family—and dozens of witnesses—called Anthony the instigator. What followed was less a criminal case than a full-contact national psychosis involving cable news panels, social media prosecutors, racial narratives, competing fundraisers, and approximately 47 million people who somehow knew exactly what happened despite possessing none of the relevant information.”

After hearing the evidence, listening to the witnesses, and deliberating for several hours, a jury convicted Anthony of murder and sentenced him to 35 years in prison.

There were multiple GoFundMe teams. Even the fundraising became a proxy war, with people debating donations, legal fees, representation, relocation expenses, and what financial support supposedly reveals about guilt, innocence, and societal decay in general.

Matt Walsh succinctly states what we all know but refuse to say outside of secure surroundings.

Walsh later posted on X:

“I haven’t moved on from the Karmelo Anthony fundraiser. They donated half a million ($630K actually) as a reward for killing a white kid. Zero evidence or reason to think it was “self-defense,” and they didn’t care. It was a reward for killing a white kid. I’ll never forget it. Neither should you.”

Judging from the continuing eruption on X and social media, Wash may get his wish; the Internet is still melting.

Karmelo’s family and friends publicly distinguished themselves with the most repulsive conduct imaginable. Angry, loud confrontational crowds outside the courthouse during the trial yelling obscenities, racial epithets, even death threats against the Metcalf family, and obscene actions by Karmelo’s family members and “friends” posting videos of them urinating and defecating on Austin Metcalf’s fresh grave never made the Evening News because…World Cup. Iran. The Reflecting Pool.

Scanning X, Substack, and worthwhile social media platforms, you will find all the facts, news, names, faces, and dates that the MSM works diligently to keep out of its “newscasts”; its bias has become legend. One has to be a Scott Pelly clone to believe any network is reporting the truth daily.

Karmelo is a murderer, and the black people defending him and wanting revenge against ‘whitey’ are dangerous and evil people. Black Crimes Matter

A Big Reveal

There is a measure of Good News coming out of all this obscenity.

Effective, plain speaking, and coincidentally Black commentator, Jason Whitlock, brings a necessary message everyone – specifically the Black community – needs to hear.

Whitlock and other Black leaders making similar constructive comments face the staggering problem: How? The anger, resentment, and ignorance so deeply embedded in generations of young, black males from dysfunctional, fatherless families fed a daily diet of angry, violent “entertainment” won’t be resolved with even a thousand on-point comments, memes, or podcasts. Systemic sociological and psychological problems have never been solved that way.

Despite my vast experience, unquestionable maturity, intellectual superiority, invincible objectivity and coveted humility, I don’t have the “How” answer. It’s out there, though. Sadly, my late good friend, Walter Williams, isn’t here to team up with our mutual pal, Tom Sowell, and maybe include their BFF, Justice Clarence Thomas to craft a realistic, practical and then well-publicized path forward. My guess is they could light a brushfire under Black men, Black women, especially mothers and grandmothers, and the problems would begin to vanish in short order.

But meet-up of those three amigos isn’t going to happen; others will have to take the lead. Father Time is our last resort.

The other tidbit of Good News is the awareness now presented to White people and non-Blacks in general: You are in danger. Your mere presence puts you in danger. Here. And here. And here. And here. And here. And here. And this. And one last one.

“The list is endless” is an understatement. So is the number of fellow citizens blissfully unaware – and in danger.

With this awareness should come Situational Awareness. If this term is unfamiliar to you, here’s a link that may help bring you up to speed. That small sample of vids should be sufficiently persuasive.
