"Rezonations" draws its core inspiration from the term 'Rez,' a pivotal concept from the groundbreaking film "Tron." In this cinematic universe, 'Rez' signifies the act of materializing or coming to life within the digital realm – an embodiment of the transition from the physical to the virtual world. This term has its roots in computer graphics as well, referring to the resolution or clarity with which digital worlds are rendered.

The philosophy of 'Rezonations' extends beyond this cinematic reference, embodying the idea of resonating at the intersection of reality and digital existence. To resonate, in both the physical and digital realms, is to vibrate, to emit energy at a frequency that aligns and harmonizes with the surroundings. It echoes the thoughts of luminaries like Albert Einstein, who famously said, "Everything in life is vibration," and Nikola Tesla, who believed, "If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration."

In the context of "Rezonations," this concept of resonating or 'Rezonating' becomes a metaphor for how we interact and harmonize with technology. It’s about finding the right frequency at which our physical existence can coalesce seamlessly with digital advancements, much like the worlds depicted in "The Matrix," "Ready Player One," and various virtual reality platforms. In these narratives, the lines between the physical and the virtual blur, presenting a future where our engagement with technology becomes a vital part of our existence.

Over the last two decades, my career has navigated through emerging fields in digital media such as geospatial gaming, AR/VR, AI, BCI, and transmedia storytelling. Starting in the early 2000s with mobile media and evolving into geospatial gaming, my journey has been driven by a passion to fuse technology with narrative, creating immersive worlds that resonate deeply in our constantly expanding digital landscape.

My career has been marked by significant milestones, including co-founding Ogmento. This venture not only made a significant impact on AR gaming but also contributed to the development of Apple's ARKit. My experience in leadership roles, from launching and managing Marvel Entertainment's mobile gaming business to serving as a VP at DAQRI and Neurable, has deepened my expertise in XR wearables, machine learning (ML), biosensor tech, and AI. These roles have allowed me to contribute to transformative projects that significantly affect individuals and society.

Now, reflecting on a career dedicated to crafting the worlds I envisioned, my current interests and ideas are culminating under the banner of "Rezonations." Here, my aim is to share wisdom and lessons learned and foster a community of builders and thinkers dedicated to creating a better interactive future for the next generations. We'll explore how to harness the power of immersive realities to enhance ourselves and society in enjoyable and engaging ways. In the spirit of Stan Lee's words, “with great power comes great responsibility,” I recognize the immense potential of emerging technologies like AR and AI for both good and harm. "Rezonations" is about fostering a mindful and ethical approach to building virtual worlds and bridging realities, resonating with wisdom. Doing good and doing well are not mutually exclusive. My goal is to share insights from the forefront of digital innovation and help shape a future where technology and narrative not only coexist but also thrive, uplifting both individuals and society as a whole.
