Welcome to my new Substack. This is a bit of an experiment for me. It is my hope to build a subscriber-base of like-minded individuals, who share my love of frontier technologies (Spatial Computing, AI, Blockchain, Sensor-Tech, etc), as well as building a brighter future for the next generation.
I have spent more than 20 years building the future - pioneering across Web1, Web2, and now into Web3. I’ve produced over 30 mobile apps and games, including launching/managing Marvel Entertainment’s mobile business. I founded the first VC-backed AR gaming company in 2009, and creative the first geospatial AR games for NBA, Halo and more (pre Pokemon Go). As a futurist, I am always tracking trends, with the desire to tell stories in new and innovative ways (interactive and immersive).
Apple has recently announced the Vision Pro, further ushering in our future of Spatial Computing. We are evolving from flat screens). Cameras and sensors are bringing contextual digital information to our physical world, and AR will become the primary UI/UX for AI powered applications. Things will get very strange, incredibly exciting, and even a bit dangerous, as these powerful tools and technologies evolve, and become more accessible to the masses.
I plan to share some tools, techniques and resources that have helped shaped my way of thinking, and serve as points for understanding, navigating, and ensuring we build a better future.
One of my personal passion projects is called REZDOM. which represents the idea of Resonating Wisdom. In the age of AI and XR, where the lines of digital and physical reality are being blurred, we need more mindfulness, education, ethics, trust, truth, transparency, accountability, accessibility. Living in this manner is to resonate wisdom.
Overall, my intention is to deliver some high-vibing, thought-provoking, and somewhat educational and inspiring content to this platform, and hopefully stimulate and motivate minds. I’d like to brings together a vibrant community of people who live life fully in both digital and physical worlds, and enjoy having one foot firmly grounded in the present, while the other optimistically explores the future. I wish to build a community of “Rezidents” - those who strive to resonate (manifest) a future though wisdom.
